Those are great ads.
The target audience is 8-15 year old boys..
Most of them around that age already have Kate Upton pinups on their walls, as she has been an “Internet thing” for a couple of years now.
Other than extraordinarily large breasts that she is willing to overexpose
and blond hair, what exactly does she bring to the table?
I wonder why?
She gave bounce to the product.
Yeah, but is the game actually any good?
I get so many ads on that game it’s annoying. And I don’t have TV.
I played one of those games a few years ago and, as a huge fan of Command and Conquer, saw the gimmick right away: After the first few buildings/structures/stuff are completed, things take painstakingly long to build, unless you purchase high speed construction. I mean, something that takes 30 seconds in a “real” video game takes 19 HOURS in one of these games. The minute I saw what was going on I bailed.
I’ll never bother with such tripe.
5.56mm
Let’s face it. There’s only one reason she’s in those ads.
Well, come to think of it, there are two reasons...
I read Upton is being paid $40 MM for appearing in those ads.
I was at BabySis’s place for the Super Bowl. We had, in sequence: (1) Katy Perry flying through the air like a super-hero, (2) an ad about not saying “throw like a girl” because it hurts girls’ self-esteem, and (3) the Kate Upton ad with her in armor riding a mighty steed and shooting people with arrows. BabySis observed, “Kinda a mixed message going on there, isn’t it?”
That browser game is very generic, nothing different from a thousand other games
I'd be you hero baby. If I was only 40 years younger and 40 lbs. lighter.
Boobies.
That’s all she’s got.
I can think of at least two reasons to hire Kate Upton for a commercial...

Make a note: Ted Cruz needs some ads on a beach with exotic hotties walking around.
