The potential loss of the EPA in their anti-fracking campaign probably has environmentalists scrambling to rehash their stance on the well-stimulation process. Too bad for them theyve already made some pretty ridiculous claims about fracking.
The Daily Caller News Foundation has taken the liberty of listing the top five most ridiculous anti-fracking claims here:

1. Fracking causes erf-quakes. How silly. We all know that it's global warming doing it. Everybody knows that when you heat things up they expand. That's why it's so important to lower the erf's core temps down from the few million degrees (per algore) so we can stop the expansion. It ain't rocket surgery.

But recently, the U.S. Geological Survey says Oklahomas earthquakes are from wastewater disposal into injection wells, not fracking itself. Analogous to that logic:
Death or injury occurs from impact with the ground, not the falling itself.
I really don't understand the use of 'liberal logic' to oppose liberal arguments. It just seems counter-productive...

I’m going to have to go with global warming being #1. That’s the core fear of cheap fuel.

They have been doing it for 60 years, and my anti-fracking friend at work just stutters and nearly heaves when he discovers that the oil from fracking is in his electric car.

A few years ago, CSI-Las Vegas had an episode that showed fracking causing private water wells to blow up and kill people. I looked up on the Internet and found NO cases of this happening. As long as Libs have their friends in entertainment backing all their false claims, the public will largely be uninformed about the truth. Sadly, people accept and believe what they see on TV. Unless, of course, it is from FoxNews......then Libs call FoxNews liars and the rest of the Media will print that as the truth.

I saw that on a rerun not long ago. What nonsense. some wells will have accumulations of natural gas in them. One near here does, but there has been NO oil or gas drilling or fracking within 90 miles.
Water wells have a greater chance of being polluted by the common Septic Tank effluent or cesspool than fracking fluid.

If you think that gets him worked up, make sure to tell him that ~80% of the nitrogen in humanity
is actually man made, from the Haber-Bosch process.

Not all hydro frac water is sent to disposal wells. More and more is recycled.

Isn’t using liberal logic against a liberal a bit circular? (I.e., ‘circular logic’)
Lol
