Rolling Stone deserves to lose. There should be penalties for deliberately lying in the media.

130 days of living under a cloud of suspicion as a result of reckless reporting by Rolling Stone Magazine.

The fraternity is being too generous. The fraternity members lived under the threat of physical violence, had their home trashed and had to go into hiding for fear of what would happen to them if the PC mob identified them.

Stupid liberals fail to realize that the more you’re caught crying wolf, the less people are inclined to believe you.

I hope they sue the University of Virginia, too.

Sue the pants off them. This is not a case of a frivolous lawsuit, this is a case of an agenda-driven media entity engaging in willful recklessness at the expense of an innocent party.

Some of the comments must have been written by the “Hands Up. Don’t Shoot” mob. NO matter what the FACTS are, they cling to their version of what MIGHT have happened IF A, then B, C, D....Z all occurred simultaneously.

I really have no use for the Greek System on college campuses.

That being said I hope Rolling Stone has to shut down over this.

In the end it turns out that Rolling Stone is the one doing the raping.

The reporter wanted a sensational story that fit into her personal bias. She wanted to believe the worst. She has in her mind some very sick ideas about the nature of youth, the nature of men. That she would believe without question that 7 young men who each came from different schools with different backgrounds, and from different states all met up in a fraternity and conspired to kidnap, beat and rape a woman. And then, they agree to keep it completely quiet, so that none of the men ever say a word, like this was just a routine day in the life of your typical young man. She wasn’t exposing crime or righting an injustice, she was telling us that she believes men are sociopaths who can easily and without remorse commit horrific crimes against women as a matter of course.

What does this say about her, and her magazine that they let her stay on?

Sue the SOB’s for all they are worth..Rolling Stone knew this Jackie woman was lying but they didn’t care because it was NEVER about Jackie’s supposed rape, it was all about shaming all fraternities and calling all men rapists..remember, for liberals, the ends always justifies the means

I normally think that we, as a nation, are suit happy. Also believe that ALL suits should be done on a contingency basis, the suer pays NOTHING till the settlement. No settlement, no money for suer NO money for lawyers.
Do that and the lawyers will quit taking these cases unless there is a decent chance to win.

Not only should Rolling Stone be ‘punished’, the reporter, editors and ANYONE that had anything to do with the publishing of the story should bed sued right down to their socks, if they have nothing, no problem, hold the settlement until the person has it or take it out of there estate.

That should satisfy ALL sides, especially those that say ‘I am not looking for money, just want to prove a point’....

They should get everything Wenner has. The implication of the article was that in order to pledge the frat, a pledge had to participate in a violent gang rape. They effectively said in print that every UVa grad from that frat is a violent rapist.
