Virginia Police Search Pond After Tip in Teen Disappearance Case Apr 4, 2015 By EMILY SHAPIRO PHOTO: The Norfolk, Virginia police are continuing to search for 18-year-old Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell, who has been missing since March 2, 2015.
A new tip in the case of an 18-year-old college student who has been missing for a month led police to search a pond about 40 miles away from the coastal Virginia town of Norfolk, where she was last seen.
Anjelica "AJ" Hadsell was last seen on March 2, according to the Norfolk Police Department. On Friday, authorities searched a pond in Carrsville, Virginia after receiving a tip, according to ABC affiliate WVEC-TV.
Carrsville resident Steven Hines told WVEC-TV that he saw divers in the water but didn't know what they were searching for.
Hines also said police showed him a photo of a white van, which he had seen drive through the area twice about a week and a half ago, WVEC-TV reports.

The reason I ask is because there have been a series of murders around the Great Lakes area; all of the young men disappeared, and then were later found in a body of water.
I wondered if the “tip” came from an outside police office; based on previous information they had on the other murders.
The murders stopped during the icy weather, because the ponds were frozen over; but every since there has been a break in the weather, 2 more young males have been found in a pond of water.
I won’t go into my suspicions, but there has also been a murder in Palm Desert, CA. Same MO as the other deaths in the Great Lakes area: 30ish male, attending dinner with co-workers, left event alone, using Uber taxi, dropped him at the wrong hotel; they found his body in a pond at a nearby golf course.
The original story of all the murders around the Great Lakes was on FOX News/Greta VanSusteren show. However, she has never done any follow-ups, even though there have been 3 more murders in the same area. Don’t know why.
She was a student at Longwood in Farmville VA., which is not far from where I live. I had hoped they would find her alive, but have begun to susoect the worst.
“Non-Emergency line” - that could signify another police agency.
This is actually good .. because I believe the info is getting passed around and hopefully they will be able to figure out who is taking the lives of our young people.
