Update, April 3: The Indiana man who claims to have been hacked now admits that he wasn't, but says he was "joking" about robbing Memories Pizza, and is threatening to sue those who exposed his (ahem) public comments.
Those of us following the Memories Pizza story won't have trouble remembering it as the years go by, thanks only partially to the Walkerton, Indiana store's fairly unusual name for a pizzeria.
What will also easy to recall are the "memories" of the unhinged and threatening leftist behavior that accompanied its owner's simple statement that, if the request ever arose, they would have to turn down catering a same-sex "marriage" because participating in or supporting such a ceremony violates their firm Christian religious beliefs and the press's attempts to cover up what their journalistic malfeasance unleashed.
At last count, we had: a tweeted wish to organize a group to burn the store down a tweet described only as "mean" by the station responsible for the original ambush story. a separate threat to the GoFundMe organizer who has a orchestrated a campaign which had raised over $379,000 for Memories as of 9:30 p.m. ET. and, to top it off, another threat, by someone who now laughably claims he was hacked, to steal from the O'Connors the money that has been raised.

Too bad they cut it off at ~$800K.
A million would have been a truly newsworthy number, an unignorable number...a number to rub the leftists’ noses in.
What I intend to do if reopen is buy 10 large pizzas and have them delivered to a homeless shelter.
So they did. $842,387. I guess they can do that but I’m not sure why.
This didn't turn out as the gaystapo planned.
I love the fact that it got to $800K but it really seems like pulling a punch to not to let it get to a million. I must admit I am frustrated.
When I saw the Blaze video, the woman looked like almost a teenager and her eyes looked so sad. I think this whole thing, publicity, hate, threats, have been a horrible shock for her. It's almost like the kindness can't get through because their lives were turned upsidedown by a remark I didn't hear but think she said from her heart but without any particular rancor toward LGBT's.
Father, daughter. Not husband, wife.
Yes, it’s 100% obvious that she is no hater of gays. That’s part of what makes this whole episode so stupid. As such, I want the left to choke on its stupid fascism by making instant millionaires of the pizza family. We were getting there at a good clip but someone pulled the plug. Probably some kindly soul who didn’t want to rub it in. Sometimes I think we conservatives simply aren’t mean enough. We need to have sharp elbows. We need to make the left SUFFER for its a-hole ways.
Oh, thank you. That explains it. I thought that then when I saw their names were the same I jumped to other conclusions.
They will; count on it.
Keep in mind the words of Adm. James Stockdale, reflecting on his 7+ years checked-in at the Hanoi Hilton:
This is a very important lesson. You must never confuse faith that you will prevail in the endwhich you can never afford to losewith the discipline to confront the most brutal facts of your current reality, whatever they might be.
“Too bad they cut it off at ~$800K.”
I don’t think they cut it off. As another poster noted, it was up more, and even up more this morning.
Guessing what news media have carried it have lost interest and most who’ve heard who will contribute have done so, or it’s stagnating.
I wish we could do one like this for Ted Cruz.
Im confident that at some point we will do exactly that.
