'4D' ultrasound shows effects of smoking on unborn babies
Nursing Times ^ | 04/01/2015 | staff

“Unborn baby shown grimacing in womb as mother smokes,” is the somewhat misleading headline in The Daily Telegraph.

The news comes after researchers released dramatic images of babies in the womb taken using 4D ultrasound scanners. 4D scanners provide real-time moving images of babies in the womb.

How do you display anything beyond 3 dimensions?

I first saw this on a leftist British website. The only time the left will admit they are babies is when it is used to show the ‘evils’ of smoking.

According to this site,

http://www.differencebetween.com/difference-between-3d-and-vs-4d-ultrasound/

the fourth dimension added is time. You are able to see the 3D images in real time.

When they study the affects of ultrasound on the fetus or explain the seeming epidemic of autism, I’ll be interests.

What’s this BABY nonsense, anyhow?! Everybody knows it’s just a gob of protoplasm until the day it exits the womb!

The ghouls at PP aren’t going to like this. A few more videos of live children in the womb and the cat will be out of the bag entirely!

This pilot study looked at whether ultrasound scans could be a reliable way of assessing foetal movements. It then looked at whether movements differ between babies whose mothers smoke and those who do not. The study found babies whose mothers smoked moved their mouths more often, and the rate at which they reduced their mouth movements was slow compared with babies whose mothers didn’t smoke.

Wait a minute... Did somebody call somebody in the womb a BABY?

Why the hell would the baby wince when the mother smoked? Smoke getting in the kid’s eyes?

I realize smoking isn’t good for the unborn but that is pure unadulterated bullshit. It ranks right up there with the guy who informed me that pigs don’t have blood vessels.

No mention of it being legal to rip the infant on the screen into little pieces while it's still alive? Why not?
"This is what happens to an "infant" in the mothers womb while the mother smokes. This is what the "fetus" looks like when the suction tube is ripping a leg off while the "fetus" tries to escape the pain with only one leg still attached."

3D images across a period of time (4th dimension). Real time imaging, in other words.

My mother smoked over a pack a day when she was pregnant with me. I weighed 4 lbs 6 oz.

It wasn’t understood smoking affected unborn children back in the 1960’s.
