Adam Smith, the former medical-device executive whose career was ruined when a video of him berating a Chick-Fil-A employee for the company’s anti-gay stance went viral, said his family is now homeless and living on food stamps.
Mr. Smith, 37, who was the CFO of an Arizona-based catheter manufacturer, toldABC’s “20/20” he was fired after recording an exchange between himself and a drive-thru cashier in June 2012, as the fast-food chain was embroiled in a national controversy over company President Dan Cathy’s public opposition to gay marriage.

I dislike factual errors. One such error here is that Chick Fil A is anti gay. The company does not have anti gay policies. The liberals targeted this company for boycott because the founder if the company opposes homosexual marriage, not because the company has anti homosexual policies.
I remember that video. He was like so many liberals, they only surround themselves with like minded people that their political echo chamber tells them that a patently absurd behavior is normal. It’s like a KKK member from a small town where everyone is a member going to a NAACP and being shocked that people don’t laugh at his N****r jokes.
This is actually one of the differences between liberals and conservatives. We all get our information from a liberally biased press, but conservatives are free thinkers and we don’t always buy the story. So we know where those that do buy it are coming from. But they think we are crazy or just plain stupid.
They don’t know what they don’t know and, as happened with this guy, the impact on your life can be quite negative.
Oh my, and certainly could not have been the Adam Smith many of us here are familiar with, lol. I know, silly.
So, he is an idiot as that video shows. Amazing how he could become a CFO while being so stupid. I mean, a CFO that can’t seem to keep a job?

Something tells me this guy behaves like this to everyone. The viral video did not cause his termination, but was a manifestation of the pesonality disorder that is the real root of his problems. I wonder how he got as far as he did.

He should go get a Job at Chick-Fil-A. Send him to Target to buy a Tie for his Interview.

actually, is reinforces my theory which is i never yell at anyone, in this case over politics, because, what do you care what some nineteen year old cashier thinks about anything.
in other words even if you win some arguement with some kid, do you really care that he goes home and thinks about it?

As I responded earlier, it could not have happened to a nicer, more deserving guy. I am so happy for him.
I was thinking the same thing - what if Chick-Fil-A offered him a job. I bet he would turn it down though.
