"How do we decide..." You go into a 'voting booth' and cast a vote!

Few people think Cruz has much of a shot at the Republican nomination. The Upshot's Nate Cohn makes the case against his doing so pretty concretely. We looked at the strength of his plan to ride tea party support on Wednesday: He trails among tea party voters badly. ![](http://www.drillingformulas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/the-official-Bullshit-Button1.jpg)

WaPo = stupidity
Early caucuses and primaries are ideal for getting throwaway looks at would-be candidates. They just need to be rotated a bit through several other small states.

And how many polls have been taken since his official announcement?

How Do we Decide Who Is a Real Candidate for President? Your political and media betters, and their pollsters, who only poll the names they're told to, tell you.
We no longer have government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
That's been replaced by government of the money, by the money, and for the money.

I hope WP isn’t holding their breath; ONE DAY: $ONE MILLION dollars was donated to Cruz.
Second Day - $75,000.
Left has no idea what’s going on. But, we do.

It seems to me that the main drawback to a Cruz presidency is one fewer Cruz in the Senate.

“How Do we Decide Who Is a Real Candidate for President?”
Well, you could start by being a Democrat. Their bench is so thin they can only run a failed ex-secretary of state whose is famous chiefly for being a first lady.
The Republican side, however, has so many strivers for the nomination it is hard for the DNC to know who the media should be instructed to Palinize first. Destroying candidates takes time, you know.

Really, who are those people? Cruz has a better chance than JEB or Krispy Kreme...
