Unfortunately, only about 50percent get the telltale Bulls eye rash associated with Lyme. Others are shuttled around for years to specialists who misdiagnose them or to or Nero symptoms, psychological problems, Parkinson’s, MS and others. I would also add that ticks aren’t all in tall grass, they can also be in trees, pets, or even on the clothing or tents, and you don’t neccessarily feel a tick, never found the tick that gave me Lyme disease, I did have my entire body covered in red rash and a fever of 103 degrees, felt cold on July 4 but people wouldn’t believe anything was wrong until they saw “patch” rashes on my arms, back and neck.
