PARIS As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the planes descent and was unable to get back in.

why wouldn’t BadPilot have used his huge, fuel-laden aircraft as a WEAPON over a major city..?
Instead his target is the side of a snowy mountain..?
I don’t get it.
Fighters had been scrambled for intercept, maybe?
I am guessing the 1st pilot had to go to the restroom.
Then one of two things happened.
1. The pilot left alone in the cockpit was incapacitated (heart attack, passed out, ect)
or
2. The pilot left alone in the cockpit was a muslim
You need to lay some odds. At least 20 to 1 opening odds that the plane was brought down by a Muslim.
I probably wouldn’t get any takers.
No kidding, of things that you don’t want to ever see, is your pilot trying and failing to get back into the cockpit against an impenetrable door.
I would rather go down watching an engine burn, or a wing fall off.
I think terrorism is quite possible.
Is that the flight from Kennedy Intl to a point just west of Martha's Vineyard?
Co-pilot incapacitated or died, couldn’t open door
or
Plane intentionally flown into mountain.
Did the pilot’s name include “mohammed”?
But a pilot banging on a locked cabin door might.
Ernst Von Mujahid.
Haven't pilot doors been made much stronger and unauthorized entry into their cabin made much more difficult since 9/11? I'm sure some changes were made in the US and maybe worldwide.
air travel is scary right now, so, as i reflect, as much as i hate bill clinton, (although not as much right now), i can’t blame him if he had a possible shoot down of twa 800 supressed. it might have resulted in mass avoidance of air travel.
He just red-lettered it...
Plus we’ve been assured this wasn’t terrorism.
I’ve seen some cockpit doors that have a combination lock so the pilot can let himself back in. Perhaps they should make that standard on all planes.
The other pilot wouldn’t have gotten up to go to the restroom unless they were at cruising altitude. If they were then autopilot would of been on which maintains altitude, unless somebody changes the settings.
We are not the ones who jumped to conclusions about Ferguson.
If he was Muslim, there’s a good chance we’ll never hear about it.
