PARIS As officials struggled Wednesday to explain why a jet with 150 people on board crashed in relatively clear skies, an investigator said evidence from a cockpit voice recorder indicated one pilot left the cockpit before the planes descent and was unable to get back in.

Scenario 1: Sounds like maybe he asked the other pilot to maybe go get him coffee or whatever.
The soft knock first tells me he expected to get back in without a problem.
One would think he had a key...but I believe its a key and also bar lock.
He knocked but we never hear a name..ex....hey Joe, Open up.
CNN reporting it, now B. Hussein will find out about this.
.......and do what he can to cover it up.
Why no indication of cell phone communication from passengers during the descent?
Except that the worst disasters tend to be the result of a string of events — that are often wildly unpredictable.
But calls, texts, or videos could have been sent from the plane and made it through to recipients. A lot of information via phone could have been transmitted in 8 mins.
Controlled descent with one pilot seems to indicate suicide/terrorism. Unlikely the flight deck lost pressure at exact moment a pilot left it.
I'd bet that once passengers realized that a pilot was locked out of the cabin and that the situation was very unusual, that some number of passengers started recording with their cell phones. But the odds of finding them and playing back anything. Who knows.
Someone mentioned that this slow descent wouldn’t arouse passengers....
Possibly lured out by the actions of an accomplice in the passenger section ?
I fly all the time and this really is not all that unusual, even shortly after take off, once reaching cruise altitude.
CNN’s been covering.
They couldn’t use the food cart as battering ram like was done on Flight 93?
Something in the cabin must have occurred requiring the pilot’s invention.
You need to lay some odds. At least 20 to 1 opening odds that the plane was brought down by a Muslim.
Pilot’s “intervention”.
One of the stations was asking that same question. Why NOTHING about him?
Let’s see if the pilot in the cockpit was named Mohammed.
Flight attendants would have known the descent was unusual....We may have had hostages...and a couple terrorists on board.
Certainly passengers witnessing a pilot trying to smash his way back into the cockpit would cause alarm and possibly cause some photos or audio to be taken by the passengers.
We will have to wait until all the evidence is gathered, and try not to jump to conclusions as was done in Ferguson Missouri. - Tom

The doors have been reinforced.
