At the Farm, I use to hand feed peanuts to herds(?) of squirrels and chipmunks, but like all wild critters, they belong in the wild, not as pets. Those teeth and claws are VERY destructive.

Aside from the number of private insurance options dropping, most have been shaped to conform with the lowest common denominator - Obamacare. (Even employer insurance has had to do this.) The label “Cadillac plan” is a killer. Can you imagine the outrage if Cruz bought one?

We have a bald eagle nest near Pittsburgh that everyone is watching. They had lain two eggs, but one got damaged or something and momma eagle threw it out of the nest :-( so there is only one left.
I think Cruz is brilliant. He’s going to be the poster boy for what’s wrong with 0bamacare with first hand experience and get the media attention it needs. Him saying “it’s the law and we should all abide by the law” was genius!
Well, Rush is blowing up the notion that Ted Cruz signed up for Obamacare as some form of protest with some grand scheme. Rush seems to be implying that Cruz was happy as could be signing up for Obamacare. Hmmm...

I got the impression he was just doing it, because “it was the law”, not because he was happy... I must have missed that part of it.
Well from a practical standpoint, that's likely the best deal Cruz can get on a policy. I assume his wife was making from a half to 3/4 mil as a managing director at Goldman. So he's taking a big financial hit having her stand down.
