Airplanes don't just fall out of the sky. The Germanwings plane that crashed Tuesday in France was at the safest part of flight. Yet, something went horribly wrong, leading to the death of 150 passengers and crew.
The first clue about what could have happened will be the wreckage itself. If the debris field is pretty compact, the plane most likely hit the mountains intact. If it is scattered, the plane probably broke up midair.

Lessay they get PERFECT data and audio from the Black Boxes:
Who here thinks we’ll get the straight story about what’s on there, if it’s ANYTHING but a straight up tragic accident...?
If there are noises indicating a fight, with guys screaming Allah Akbar, would we really hear about it...?
I’m not so sure.
it was the best I could find on such short notice....and retocuhing the photo to change it to a violin would have taken a bit of time..
Personally, I would suspect some variation this incident.
Pics looked to me like it may have hit the side of the mountain and all the debris slid to the valley. Rocky and no snow. I suspect tomw we’ll have lots more visuals.
Its a tad larger than I expected...as I left off the size code....
Hal... now.made by the Ford Motor Company
the debris rained down... not cocentrated. They know..
Make mine a Boeing.
“If there are noises indicating a fight, with guys screaming Allah Akbar, would we really hear about it...?
Im not so sure.”...........
I have also questioned whether they would tell us the truth if I t was terrorists.
Airbus SW assumes it is smarter than the pilots and will take action that the pilots cannot override. There have been many crashes from actions based on faulty sensor readings (like air speed indicators). I like Boeing much better!!!!!!
Aliens.
Killer bees.
Airbus has had problems with ice in the pitot tube.Air France was one example
Fits fine on the tablet I’m using at the moment. I love reruns of Gilda Radner jokes. Violins being my favorite. Id also note that flying is not the quality experence it used to be.
I draw the line at the 787.
Smoked everyone including the crew and it augured straight down into the swamp.
That was an Arkincide hit.
Reports are that the plane flew a gradual and steady descent into the mountain. Sounds like someone was asleep at the wheel and accidentally turned off the autopilot.
According to the news report tonight, it is possible the plane went high, then depressurized knocking out those on board.
The first thing I thought about was the Malaysian flight which disappeared last year, it was suggested the same thing happened on it.
