The World Health Organisations cancer agency has declared that one of the UKs most widely used weedkillers is probably carcinogenic to humans.
Amateur gardeners and professional farmers have been urged to think very carefully about using the popular herbicide Roundup, which contains glyphosate.
A summary of the International Agency for Research on Cancer's (IARC) report, published in The Lancet Oncology, said that the herbicide had been detected in air during spraying, in water, and in food.It had also been detected in the blood and urine of agricultural workers, indicating absorption.
...The IARC's report said that its use has increased sharply with the development of genetically modified glyphosate-resistant crop varieties.

I enjoyed their description of Dr. Oz and wanted to share it with you. It was not linked to make a technical point on GMO foods.
“3) business magazine”
Forbes. And it had verifiable links to support their story.
“4) the company itself”
OMG. I have committed the ultimate sin. Sourcing a companies official statement that could leave them criminally and civilly liable if it were false.
I had one diet soda a day, I cut that out and do the sun brewed unsweetened tea. I live in Phoenix, I can sun brew a gallon of tea in an hour. LOL.
I got rid of the fake healthy bread that I *knew* was crap but chose to believe it was better. I started buying unsprouted breads.
At night, I take about an ounce of Braggs apple cider vinegar with a huge glass of water about an hour before dinner.
Switched to organic or at least non-BST dairy. I cut milk out altogether as it wasn't agreeing with me and switched to almond milk. Just look at the ingredients on all the mainstream ice creams--just a chemical cocktail.
I make a green smoothie every morning. I had been doing that only sporadically.
I already have been a runner since I was about 15 so I know there are two things I need in my life to stay (reasonably) sane. 1. exercise and 2.sunshine.
Oh, and I drink one large glass of water with chia seeds every day as well.
No doubt the gut flora is key. That is what is concerning about some of these GMO studies.
Once you start educating yourself about what exactly some of these chemicals are eating it becomes a lot less tempting. Not really thrilled when seeing BHT listed on the label anymore.
Many conservatives are stuck in a government is bad. Corporations good. In this case, they are one and the same.
It's some weird form of polarized thinking. If I hate one, I must like and defend the other. Nah, they are both equally not your friend.
On it's face, they tell us this is only toxic to insects.
That said, I am also reading that may of the pests are growing resistant to the proteins/toxins.
Lol, it all seems insane.
Ofcourse, Monsanto benefits on all fronts. They sell the seed, they sell the insecticide/herbicide that can only be used with their seeds and vice versa.
Right? So, all the, possible, risk for no more food, no more nutrition.
Labor savings and, in theory, cheaper pesticide costs.
Not even cheaper food. Are your food costs lower? In fact, the farmers in India are being charged 500x the cost for the "new" seeds they are required to buy.

...Geese migrating through Illinois only munched sections of the soybean field that was non-GMO. When given a choice, elk, deer, raccoons, and rats all avoided GMOs. And even during the coldest days of Iowa winter, squirrels, which regularly devour natural corn, refused to touch the GM variety.
Add a little dawn dish soap after the water (so it doesn't make suds) and it will work even better...

It would be nice if you sourced your article ...
“Roundup is a ripoff - plain old white vinegar diluted 50/50 with water works fine.”
LOL!

So far, we have munched on over 100 billion cows that have munched on GMO corn ...
“...Bt corn is also implicated in the deaths of cows in Germany, and horses, water buffaloes, and chickens in The Philippines.”

Your false propaganda:
“twice the number of chickens fed Liberty Link corn died;”
The truth:
“This is another example of Smith being so anxious to make a case against GM crops that he misinterprets as a problem an observation that is evidence of safety. The death rate in this report was normal for poultry research facilities and demonstrates that no meaningful biological difference exists between the control corn and experimental GM corn. Whats more, in the decade since this corn variety was registered, several other LL corn varieties have been commercialized. Regulatory scrutiny of these LL corns required extra feeding trials (with both rats and farm animals) that Smith does not mention. This extensive history of laboratory testing, and practical experience in the meat and poultry industry stretching out more than ten years, provides additional assurance about the safety of LL corn going far beyond the case taken up by Smith.”
Mortality was normal for this fast-growing strain of bird, where at our research facilities we normally see values of 5 percent to 8 percent in male broilers.
