Federally-mandated changes to school lunches backed by first lady Michelle Obama helped cause an unprecedented drop in the number of students eating lunch, according to a new report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO).
The GAO cited two factors stemming from the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, which caused a decrease in the number of children eating school lunch each day: school childrens’ issues with “palatability” and “federally-mandated” increases in the price of school lunches.

Same could be said for ObamaCare: overpriced (as are the premiums charged), tastes bad (coverage not meeting needs of policyholders) , refusing to eat it (refusing to buy it).

Let’s see now... when I went to public school (which was better than today’s), I brown bagged it, or I went home for lunch (school was 1500 feet from my house) or to my friend’s house for lunch. The only times I had a school lunch was if I was at my speech therapy class, which was across town.
Michelle Obama, who holds neither a government office nor any professional credentials managed to stick her fat butt into the completely unconstitutional school lunch program. In doing so she ensured the meals became unsightly, unpalatable, and over priced.
The Wookie can neither control her own weight nor subject her children to this illegally government mandated slop. But somehow she is allowed to dictate what our children are allowed for lunch.
The blatant contempt this creature displays towards our children is only matched by the contempt our federal government displays for We The People.
Today for lunch...my boys had New England boiled dinner from St. Patrick's Day, carrot cake and iced tea...
There is nothing the federal government can’t screw up. All they have to do is intrude to the slightest degree, and POOF.
Part of the problem may lie with that giant picture of Moo hanging on the lunchroom wall staring at and frightening those children!!!
