In a new interview with Playboy, former Vice President Dick Cheney accused President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder of "playing the race card" and said that he could "go on for hours" about all of the ways Obama has "undone" the work of President George W. Bush.
Although the article claims that Cheney's "preoccupations revolve around the books in his study and the purchase of just the right gifts for his grandchildren," it sounds more like he's kind of obsessed with Obama. Calling him "the worst president in my lifetime," Cheney said his criticism of Obama and Holder has nothing to with race and is "merited because of performance or lack of performance, because of incompetence." He also shared that he was "disappointed" in the Obama administration's response to the situation in Ferguson, Missouri, and said that he's heard from foreign leaders, "especially in the Middle East," that they are "so terribly frustrated, angry, [and] frightened" over Obama's handling of the crisis in Syria. "Our friends no longer trust us, and our adversaries no longer fear us," he said.
Lest you think Cheney only talked about the president, he did take some time out to say the energy policy he helped craft while in office was an "enormous success" and he feels "very good" about what the CIA did after Sept. 11. "We bent over backward to adhere to the law, to not do something that was, quote, 'torture,' et cetera, et cetera.... I don't spend a lot of time worrying what the critics have to say about it."

Sperm Stain Hussein is the perfect president for goats.
Its all for the party, not the people......My ass. IT”S all for the Muslims and Communists. And the Caliphate.
I was thinking of that same picture. Cheney knew! He knew obama was bad news right from the start! It shows on his face! I can only imagine what he was thinking at that moment!

Bummer - I do not want to go to “Playboy” to read the interview.
Isn’t there a copy posted somewhere else - like a Cheney website or the like?
I really want to read this article. I remember during the 1st Gulf War (he was Secy of Defense), and I thought at the time what a great President he would make. But, it wasn’t to be (which I’ve now come to understand - the squish middle didn’t want a hard-liner).
I’ve always admired Cheney so much. This is the type of article which stays with you for a long time.
Thanks was thinking about this picture the other day.
I doubt very much the MSM will throw a fit over this. They wouldnt want to draw attention to the very clear truth of what Dick Cheney has said, as too many people would nod their heads in agreement.
I’ve asked liberals to name one good thing Obama has done that is good for the country. Most can’t come up with a single thing. Only one mentioned Obamacare and that was easy to knock down.
Most know what a POS Obama is, they simply won’t admit it.
Cheney thought: “Bozo the Clown or Mickey Mouse, ah the ears, Mickey Mouse definitely.
Best. Picture. Ever.
How well I remember that day. One of my relatives did a "wellness" check on me. Only prayer got me through it. Gets me through it.
One thing Obama’s election and reelection has done for me is to shine a bright light on the degree to which many if not most US voters really are useful idiots - able to be cravenly played time and time again to their own detriment. A virtually undeniable if not patently obvious reality upon which not only Obama Care, but most of Obama’s governing strategies and initiatives have relied.
Shakespeare perhaps said it best.
“But ‘tis strange: And oftentimes, to win us to our harm,
The instruments of darkness tell us truths, Win us with honest trifles, to betray us in deepest consequence.”
Remember all the screaming about how Cheney’s heart condition made him unfit as a VP, and Cheney’s heart condition meant he should never run for president after Bush, and Cheney’s heart condition meant he would be dead in a year, screech screeeech screeeeeech?
Here it is, 14 years later and he is still with us. How I wish he had run, and won, after W.
Hell, I wish he had run after W’s first term. Except for being soft on gay rights, he had it all. And even at that, he would not have done to the military one-tenth of what has been done by the usurpist.
This is news...how?
There are a lot of ways to look at the ‘worst president.’ I guess my thinking was based on how sustainable the country is after their presidency. What I mean is: will the spirit of the founding (small government, more liberty, Christian heritage) be able to continue on the same trajectory? Obama has successfully finished off a progressive revolution that has permanently ended the spirit of the founding, but Bush established the framework that Obama is using.
Carter tried to do what Obama has done, Bush Sr ended Reagan’s revolution, Clinton forever ended presidential integrity, and Bush Jr gave us DHS, TSA, Karl Rove, Compassionate Conservatism, John Roberts, and rising debt, but his biggest mistake is getting us into two wars we weren’t philosophically equipped to win.
How can one get a high quality file of this picture?
I don’t disagree mistakes were made. He did some things right too. So it is with all presidents.
“Calling him “the worst president in my lifetime,”
This is nothing new. We have been saying that or ‘worst ever” on FR since 2008! ;-)
Not a coincidence!
