Binyamin Netanyahu appears to be headed towards a greater victory than predicted by exit polls, with 30 seats. "Zionist Camp" has 24.
As counting of votes continues in the elections for the 20th Knesset, the Likud party may be headed for an even bigger victory than exit polls originally predicted.
As of 4:25 a.m. (Israel time), 99.5% of the ballots have been counted and the Likud is leading the pact with 30 seats. The Zionist Union of Labor and Hatnua has 24 seats.
The Joint Arab List has 13 seats, followed by Yesh Atid with 11 seats and Moshe Kahlons Kulanu with ten.
The Jewish Home has eight seats, the haredi parties Shas and United Torah Judaism each have seven seats, Yisrael Beytenu has six and Meretz closes out the list with four seats.
Despite earlier indications that it may have passed the threshold, it appears as though Eli Yishais Yachad party will be left out of the Knesset.
Netanyahu addressed supporters of the Likud earlier Tuesday night, saying the results were a great victory for the nationalist camp in Israel.
Against all odds, we have achieved a great victory for the Likud. We have achieved a great victory for the Likud-led nationalist camp and our people, he said.

That is an old list. Lieberman’s party no longer is combined with Likud, and Reuben (Ruby) Rivlin resigned from Likud when he became President of Israel, to name two discrepancoes that jumped out at me.
The Joint Arab List has 13 seats. Nuf said. That will be the downfall of Israel.
As long as Arabs are at war with, and demand the destruction of Israel their cannot be voting rights for Arabs. Duh!
Also, he has been winning internationally. While he has was defeated in Egypt, and possibly in Syria, and while he lost big in Israel, his efforts to build a Caliphate in the nations controlled by Muslims seems to be succeeding as he has turned his attention to making Iran the centerpiece of that effort.
Right.
That was the combined list from the last (2013) election. I might have misunderstood what you were looking for.
For up to date interest, check out Miri Regev, the Israeli Sarah Palin.
Nobody cares about the Arab parties except Meretz, and Meretz only has four seats. They represent less than 10% of the Knesset if they wind up with 11 seats. A higher percentage of Democrats in Congress are Socialists, and they have the support of the rest of the Democrat party. Nothing of that sort is happening in Israel.
Indon’t expect it to change. The IDF rank and file are right wing, but the foreign service is leftist.
Some are soeculating that the military cotes will put Yachad, the religious party that failed to beeak the threshhold, into the Knesset. I doubt it.
I know some Hebrew, but not enough so I’m having a little trouble understanding it.
Hebrew: Zeh anachnu oh hasma’ool.
English: It’s us or the Left.
Hebrew: Rah haLikud.
Hebrew: Rah Netanyahu.
Couldn’t find a word with a Resh and a Hey. And I didn’t know the letter Hey had a sofit! That Hey should be a Kaf instead which would mean in English. If that Hey was an Ayin it would be something bad.
Only Likud.
Only Netanyahu.
Am I correct on that translation? There’s gotta be a play on words here or something.
Then there is that side note on the left that says
‘Machal’ which means renounce or pardon. What this is in context to I don’t know.
“The Silent Majority”...
(congrats, Bibi)
BTTT!!!!
Well said Sarah!
It is “rak”, not “rah”. The second letter is a “koof”. The word means “only”, as you surmised: “Only Netanyahu, only the Likud”. The piece of paper looking thing is the code pronted on the tocket that voters reauest in order to vote for the Likud, Netanyahu’s party. The coded papers are a throwback to the early years of the State of Israel, when mamy people didn’t speak Hebrew. To enable those voters to vote, each political party had a 1-3 letter symbol printed on its card.
The Israeli voters have shown themselves to be smarter than us American voters. Hopefully we will be as smart as them when we vote in 2016.
With the cryin Cheeto and McTurd-le, all the time.
purrrrfect!
Thanks for that explanation!
Thanks for ignoring my embarrasing typos.
United Arab ListTa’al Ibrahim Sarsur 138,450 3.65% 4 seats.
so last time around the arabs got 4 seats this time they got 13?
Hello?
The ARABS ARE THE BIG WINNER HERE.
LOOK AT LIKUDS TRACK RECORD.
12 2006
27 2009
31 2013
30 2015
LIKUD IS STUCK AROUND 30, the arabs are soaring, next time they will be around 20? Sounds like illegal immigration is happening in Israel too. Maybe that’s what odumbis boyz are doing over there in Israel.
Netanyahu better nuke his enemies while he can because the arabs will be taking over Israel within 3 election cycles through the power of the ballot box.
Halfway to the magic 61 needed - Obama skunked again....
When was that photo taken?
(Well-organized liberals - all bought-and-paid-for T-shirts, eh?)
