The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals today denied the Obama Administration's request for an expedited ruling on Judge Andrew Hanens injunction blocking President Obama's executive amnesties.
Justice Department attorneys asked the court to rule within seven days but the court allowed the normal 10-day period for states to respond to the Administration's request. Politico reports this could be an early sign that the 5th Circuit may not want to overturn Judge Hanens injunction quickly.

While I don’t necessarily disagree, these days it’s tough to tell what court will go rogue next.
I’m glad the 5th operated this way at this time.

Yes, the King will ignore it. Laws only apply to the peons.

This is rare good news from what are supposed to be our courts. Apparently the rule of law occasionally reappears in our country.

Thanks Rainee. That’s an important observation.
Let’s just hope they come down the way we would like them to on this one.

The court should say “if you release the Bergdahl report or Lois Lerner’s backup email tapes or Hillary’s private server or even the remainder of the Fast & Furious documents we’ll grant your request to expedite..”
