FERGUSON, Mo. (CBS St. Louis/AP) A man charged in the shooting of two police officers during a demonstration in Ferguson told investigators he was not targeting law enforcement and had been aiming for someone with whom he was in dispute.
St. Louis County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch said he believed the 20-year-old suspect attended last weeks protest before the shooting happened. Activists said Jeffrey Williams was not a consistent fixture in their tight-knit group.
Were not sure we completely buy that part of it, McCulloch said of Williams contention that he did not fire at the officers....

Were not sure we completely buy that part of it, McCulloch said of Williams contention that he did not fire at the officers....So, now, because of black privilege, all you gotta do is say: "Oops, my bad, I was shootin' at Leroy over there.", and all is forgiven.
Why the hell does it matter what he says he was doing...bottom line is, two police officers got shot, in a highly charged racial confrontation, by a person on the other side of the protest line.
Prosecute his ass and forget the black privilege part.
But that wouldn't set well with Al Sharpless and that nitwit in the White House, whose name I shall not say, 'cause if I do, it'll be construed as racism, since one does not criticize the person in the White House without being accused of racism.
Damn, this sucks.

The DOJ said the police are racist. Therefore, everything they do is racist and all blacks accused by them are innocent.
Look for a lot of “jury nullification” cases in that area.

Oy, another set up that involves getting yourself, or your compadres shot. These are not good set ups.

I will out myself as one of those repellant creatures known as lawyers long enough to tell you, in plain English, that if you aim at A and hit B, you're guilty of whatever damage you inflict on B.
Now, please forget I outed myself and treat me henceforth as a human being.

A "pastor?" Not likely - more like an out-runner. Once in a while, my somewhat quirky insights are needed - the rest of the time, I lurk on the rim.

Yeah, the mean officers put a gun in his hand and made him shoot at their fellow officers. He was framed!

I worked with a guy in Houston whose 18-year old son was taking some girls home from a school dance when a carload of "unaccompanied children" opened fire on them. His son was killed and one of the girls had a grievous hand injury.
The perps, who had been at the dance and been kicked out, were caught and claimed that it was a case of mistaken identity and that they had shot at the wrong car.
The "unaccompanied children" thought that made it OK and they should be set free since they killed the wrong guy.
