Anyone who still believes Obama is not an antisemite is either antisemitic himself or has eaten an overabundance of mushrooms.
US fails to renew emergency oil supply pact with Israel, Globes.co.il, March 16, 2015 The agreement guaranteeing Israels oil supplies in wartime was first signed in 1975.
The US has not renewed a historic agreement under which it guaranteed a supply of oil to Israel in emergencies, that is, instances in which Israel might be cut off from its regular commercial sources of oil because of war or closure of sea lanes. The agreement expired in November 2014, and since then the US administration has done nothing to renew it, Washington sources told Globes.
The sources said that it was not clear whether this was a deliberate step by the administration, stemming perhaps from renewed friction between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the White House, or a matter of bureaucratic inertia in Washington.

Hmm....I’d have to ask Tom Cotton. The Congress ratifies treaties but I don’t think it can initiate them.
It passes agreements - I guess it could initiate those but the President could veto. It would take 2/3 of both houses to override, no?
“If the bulk of ME countries decide to boycott Israel in a time of all out war, where does Israel turn for a vital resource?”
They go to the IPE and buy oil futures like everyone else.
The structure of oil market has changed over the last 40 years and the current structure would make it extremely difficult for an oil producing country to pull off of its oil off the market or placing an embargo on Israel.
I have had to rethink what it means to be a patriot lately. America is in the process of switching sides.
I guess they need to get crackin’ :

Egypt’s already planning to get its natural gas from Israel.
I think this is a big mistake.
Your “assurances” are, once again, absurd, and do not subscribe to historical precedences. I certainly would not wish to pin my own survival upon irrational assurances such the like which you subscribe to.
Honestly, you're not talking to an ignorant rube who will believe the tripe you are attempting to pass off to him as “Prime Rib”, comprende?
Talk about treasonous...
.
Oil Futures are paper investments, not real oil.
No more reliable than paper guns or paper gold.
Paper is for fools to make party hats out of.

If there is one Jew alive in Israel on January 20, 2017, Obama will consider himself a very partial success as “president.”
There is nothing irrational. I did say the the agreement should stay in place.
And if it came the point that shipping routes to Israel needed protection, the US must keep the routes open.
Today, that is not an issue.
My entire point revolves around the “agreement” that is not being renewed. It has nothing to do with “peacetime” guarantees. It has everything to do with guarantees during times of need and crisis when Israel has no other significant means of procuring Oil.
This has nothing to do with circumstances as they stand today. This has nothing to do with shipping routes that need protection. This has everything to do with the U.S. committing to supplying Israel with Oil in the event is becomes next to impossible to procure Oil through “normal” means.
Keeping the “routes” open is beside the point of this agreement. Supplying Israel with a vital volatile when it is not obtainable, due to “abnormal” circumstances, has everything to do with this agreement, and Israel can no longer depend upon the U.S. to supply them with Oil when Israel has no other method of obtaining this vital resource.
That is the issue, and “today” is not the point.
He’s just a mean, little boy who managed to get an important job - remember the playground bully when you were growing up...he’s now in the White Hut.
You are missing the point.
Yes, Israel can currently buy oil on the open market and get it delivered. In peacetime. In a conflict where Muslim countries threaten to sink any oil tanker trying to make a delivery to Israel, or pull out of any exchange which dares sell to Israel, it would be different.
The agreement says the US will get oil to Israel if they need it, no matter what.
That’s as unexpected as bad economic news under this White House. Who would have guessed that Obama would choose a policy that hurts Jews and Israel? Again.
We got shale, and a new way of fracking, and natural gas. Saudi Arabia, move over.
Just another small, tight bill Congress could send, cleanly and without amendments, to Obola’s desk to sign.
But, it’s Boehner, who is a DEMOCRAT, so . . .
Glad we all turned out to gain that majority last year.
Since everything is all mixed up and upside down since Barry made it the White Hut: Saudis will guarantee to Israel a 100 yer supply of oil (at cost), if Israel takes out Iran.
