There have not yet been any arrests, or description of suspects, in this week’s shootings of two Ferguson, Missouri police officers, but one black activist says he has a hunch who is responsible.
Martin Davis, an author and activist, appeared on Tim Constantine’s D.C.-based radio show Thursday and said he suspects the shooter was part of some type of white militia trying to cause chaos.
“What I’m thinking is it was either somebody who was some type of great sharpshooter, some type of militia, some type of, you know, just person who wanted to see chaos that night,” Davis said on the show. “Because I really just don’t see somebody hitting those officers the way they did at that distance that’s a novice with a firearm.”
Pressed by the host, Tim Constantine, if he was suggesting that the shooter or shooters were white and trying to provoke black-white strife, Davis said: “You know that’s just where my head is right now. I’m just thinking like a person that says, ‘who can be that good of a shot from that type of a distance.’ It’s not your typical gang-banger. Something tells me they’re going to find this a lot deeper than just some protestor that decided he was going to take shots at the police.”
Davis isn’t the only person making this argument. Democratic Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed said on MSNBC she wonders if the shootings were carried out by ISIS or white supremacists who are “trying to incite a race riot.”

I remember when that was going on. I was working at a local airport out here in Kali and would ride the employee shuttle bus from the parking lot to the terminal with flight attendants and some assorted pilots.
Two flight attendants sitting across from me were talking about being nervous when they flew into the DC area and how they hoped that the cops would get that guy.
I opined that it wasn't one guy it was a team of probably at least two with some degree of skill. They looked at me like I had just urinated in the punch bowl and couldn't believe it was more than a lone crazy single white male gun-nut. I just shrugged and went back to looking out the window.
Ferguson is FUBAR...
Sadly, I doubt the proponents of the race war this man is talking to/about, have the mental capacity to understand what he is saying, much less to heed such a warning. Kinda humorous when he asks “How long do you think this war is gonna last? An hour? Two hours?” Lol

I don’t know what’s being reported this morning but the reports last night weren’t about caliber, they were reporting a handgun was used.....

There weren’t any facts as of last night. I don’t know if anything more has become known over night. You didn’t see the one reporter (forget what channel) pointing UP a street and saying, “The shots came over the top of those buildings.” They should be charged a fee for the air time they take up with guesses. I didn’t find any of it believable but they will continue to speculate probably long after they get some facts!

Yes, I remeber that speech. It stirred up a lot of controversy, and unfortunately, because of lack of clarity on Obama’s part on who would make up this civilian national security force, some poor souls became so afraid of this nebulous ‘unknown’ that they rearranged their whole lives to prepare to counter this perceived threat, real or imagined.

Sorry, I wasn’t attempting to shed light on any of the specific demographics of whom the man in the video was refering to. I was only making the observation (somewhat in agreement) that he didn’t think those folks to be too bright.
They did not find the gun. They found some cartridge casings which were for pistol rounds, and from that assumed that the shooter used a pistol. Since there are rifles which shoot pistol calibers, that may an unwarranted assumption.
You also have kits which turn a Glock pistol into a scoped carbine rifle.
I hadn’t heard any of the news. Not that I’m trying to avoid it - LOL!! You mean someone actually left behind casings? And the so called “experts” are calling the shooter a “professional?”
Reminds me of a book I’m reading by Stephen Hunter -ISniper - seems someone took out a Jane Fonda type, a Bill Ayers and wife Bernadine Dohrn type and a liberal comedian type - all from long distances. Sounds like a good idea to me but sadly, it’s only fiction. Of course, it’s a Bob Swagger story (Bob the Nailer)..Anyway - on to the subject:
