Because the GOP is the “lessor evil”?

Or were the lessor evil until they joined with the “Bigger Evil”(Democrats)
to fund Amnesty.

And because of that, the “lessor evil” theme that many here have been spouting
got blown out of the water.

Please GOP, Remind Us Again Why We Gave You Control of Both Houses of Congress

Because you were being stupid and didn't listen to their publicly declared support of amnesty? Because you thought that (R) was enough a reason to cast your vote? Because you thought that, somehow, it would be punishing the Democrats… despite the Republican party refusing to stand against them on virtually anything?

I don't know — Why don't you tell me why you voted for a party that has shown that it has neither the ability nor the desire to stand for anything?

"Remind Us Again"

Because you're stupid. You thought we weren't Democrats.

At this rate, the GOP will hand back both the Senate and the House in 2016 to the Socialists and Marxists called the Democrat party, so the question will be short lived.

I received a fundraising appeal in the mail today from the RNC. Here is a choice quote:

“As a freedom-loving individual who shares our Republican principles of small government, responsible spending and low taxes you are the foundation of the Party.”

Pathetic.

We gave them the majority so that THEY CAN ‘CORRECT’ our thinking, just like the democrats do.

After all, it’s for our OWN good...

We’re just ignorant rubes, you know...

They get pleasure out of being dominated by the Dems, but they get even more pleasure by surrendering to them.

Remember how some thought a GOP majority in Congress would lead to a meaningful change in direction?

I'm almost certain those same "some" will all flock up like sheep and do it again.

The thing is that we are not handing control from one party to the other.

We are handing control from government to government.

We have been played for fools for some time now, yet many refuse to see this. They have bought the lies that they have been told so thoroughly that they cannot believe otherwise.

This whole construct is an illusion, quite literally like The Matrix, to make us think that we have a choice and control in this, when we are completely controlled and have no choice whatsoever.

This is precisely a red pill, blue pill situation and most people choose the blue pill, because it’s just easier that way.

I no longer believe that elections of any sort will have any effect on our situation at all. I would like to think that an Article V convention would, but frankly it’s moving too slow to have any effect. it needs to happen yesterday, and it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen at all, and even if it did, I expect any positive outcome would be ignored by the powers that be.

Which leaves us with one option, and that is the option that they want us to choose, and it will most likely fail, and the outcome would be horrific.

I’m not sure that there is any solution to our predicament.

Look folks, it’s time to wake up. There really and truly is no difference between the Democrat and Republican Parties. Yes, there may be some Republicans who are conservative, but the PARTIES THEMSELVES are both on pretty much the same page, on almost every issue.

Don’t give me any of that “lesser of two evils” nonsense. The GOP is not “lesser” than the Democrats in that regard. Seriously, Pelosi and Boehner and even coming out into the open with working together. What more do you need?

The GOP is a dead letter. Leave it. Instead of whining about how third parties never get anywhere or how hard it would be to replace the GOP, get started working instead. Organize. Get prepared. Work. These aren’t dirty words, y’know.

In the words of that great philosopher “Suck it up, dudes !”. We now have a government ‘of the government, by the government, for the government’. The system has won and America is nothing more than a footnote in World History. Kneel and obey, otherwise an IRS audit, or worse, lies in your future. If anyone feels otherwise, I would really appreciate anything contrary. Don’t forget ‘Kneel and obey’.

Thank you for referencing that article SeekAndFind. Please bear in mind that the following critique is directed at the article and not at you.

Don’t forget that citizens are partly to blame for our deadbeat Congress. This is because citizens are the ones who originally pressured state lawmakers to ratify the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A), foolishly giving up the voices of the constitutionally powerful states legislatures in constitutionally humbled Congress.

I keep thinking that Obama would have been impeached out of office by now if it weren’t for 17A. Citizens have been two slow to wise up to corrupt Obama and build up the 2/3 Senate majority needed to remove him from office.

The 17th Amendment needs to be repealed.
