Obama Complains It’s Easier to Buy a Gun Than a Book or Fresh Vegetable

As long as you can go in some neighborhoods and it is easier for you to buy a firearm than it is for you to buy a book, there are neighborhoods where it is easier for you to buy a handgun and clips than it is for you to buy a fresh vegetable, as long as that’s the case, we’re going to continue to see unnecessary violence,” Obama said in a response to a question at the town hall meeting at Benedict College.

You can't even get a free book in some neighborhoods because they're banned. A Shreveport "little free library" was banned by the city so the owner put the notice on the door and chained it up.

I long for the olden days when you could go into a hardware store, gas station, grocery store, saddle shop, lay down the cash and walk out with a fine handgun, no questions asked, no paperwork.

But then that was before 1968.

I don’t think he would do that. No way to hide the mass non-compliance.

The citizens are much tougher to push around than the spineless congress.

Or an 1888 Turkish Mauser from a 55 gallon barrel at the hardware store, $5.00.

“Mandatory registration of all handguns I bet.”

I suppose he could try that but it has zero chance of working. He would need to get some sort of half-baked anti-constitutional law through Congress first - which is unlikely on this issue. Also, the lawsuits from states like Texas, Kansas and a number of others who have rallied for state protection of citizens’ gun rights would delay any real implementation of any such effort.

I almost wish he would try it.

firearms in kindergarten and have machine guns in bars —

How about jihadi kindergarten training? Bombs, AKs, beheading, etc.

Now that would be an illuminating project - a map of violent crimes in each state with a color overlay of how that neighborhood voted in the last HoR election

Talk about a no-brainer!

If one can't read they don't need to sell or buy books. If one eats out of a can or a fast food restaurant, then one doesn't need fresh vegetables. Now, who are we talking about that cannot or will not buy a book or fresh vegetable? It must be the Obama demographic that is having the trouble.

then u r n deep trouble
I can go to Target and buy books and veggies, no guns
We carry guns n Texas because cops are too heavy, won’t fit n my purse

...”Obama full of sh*t...Again”...

Anything the man says is a repeat of the same old twists, bumps and lies he's now famous for. Not to mention the things he's selected to interject himself into. He's soooo washed up!

I'm heading right out to Harris Teeter to get a 1911 and an M1 carbine.

Should I look in the produce section?

I remember a bar down in New Mexico and Oklahoma that were so bad they stopped everyone at the door and searched for guns or knives.

If they did not find one, they issued you one before going in!
