Democrats on the House Committee on Benghazi are calling on the panels Republican chairman to withdraw subpoenas sent to the State Department for Hillary Clintons personal emails.
In a letter sent to Chairman Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on Friday, the five Democrats on the panel criticized Gowdy for issuing the formal request for documents from Clintons term as secretary of state without consulting with Democrats and accused the committee of operating as a campaign arm of the Republican National Committee.
Issuing this subpoena unilaterally with no deliberation by committee members, leaking information about the subpoena before informing Democratic Members, and providing inaccurate information at a press conference all contribute to a perception that this Committee is now targeting Secretary Clinton for political reasons rather than to clarify any remaining facts relating to the attacks in Benghazi, the Democrats, led by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), wrote.
The Democrats added, We urge you to withdraw the ill-considered subpoena whose issuance to a cooperating witness served only to highlight the increasingly partisan nature of the Committees focus and to immediately publish the Secretarys emails in their entirety, as she has requested.

I guaranty you when 2016 rolls around the DNC and the so-called news media will keep PIAPSs corruption from being an issue by saying it is Old News.
Mark my words.
Sounds like Democrat obstructionists are the Party of No.
Nancy Pelosi lied when she promised the most ethical Congress ever.
So much for TRANSPARENCY.
When will the Democrats stand up against law breakers (except of course in the case of Republican law breakers)?
Why are any Demonrats even on any of these committees?? Tip O’neill NEVER would have allowed it.
The dems don’t want us to know that hil protected her boss who let Americans die rather than annoy his true love.
Mark MY words. When the dictionary is re-written, the word HYPOCRITE will be re-defined as —
HYPOCRITE: (n) A Democrat politician defending a liberal for committing the same offense a Republican did last week.
Can you just imagine the explosive uproar is former Secretary of State Condolezza Rice had pulled the SAME thing with her e-mails. Wow...E-MAILGATE enrages the world.
Cummings should be in prison!
You are 1000% correct.
The media has no plan B, ( Fauxahauntis, once in the spotlight, will prove to be an even bigger dolt, without the cult of personality)
I give the media 2-3 weeks to mop this up. They and theirs are doing the Clinton thing right now, hide until ALL of the known crap is out, THEN go into damage control.
We watched this for 8 freaking years before.
Issued subpoenas without consulting the “opposition” - grasping at straws. The Chairman can issue any subpoena he wants.
This outta be fun. I mean real fun. Trey examining Hillary.
Not this time.
I think Hillary set up the email server system to provide easy access for certain foreign agents. A hacker discovered the server and many security people have opined that Russia, China, North Korea and a number of Middle Eastern goveernments had the ability to hack that server. In fact,, though I can not prove it, I think the Clintons have long been selling secrets to the Chi-Coms and now to ISIS. They have never accounted to the enormous cash inflow from the Chineese during Bills term in office nor for the inflow to the Clinton Foundation.
As soon as all the 'erased' or 'lost' emails are recovered, guys.
Don't be so harsh!
Remedial Ebonics kindergarten should suffice.
Cummings should be removed while he is investigated for colluding with the IRS to attack True the Vote.
And replaced with another Republican.
The GOP better show some balls soon.
This outta be fun. I mean real fun. Trey examining Hillary.
Didn’t know that Cummings knew how to write because he sounds like a blithering idiot whenever he speaks.
He’s a “what”? A leading Democrat Party congressional representative? Okay, that explains it.
