Seniors at a New Mexico high school have voted to hold a prom with a communism theme, which they've dubbed "prom-munism."
KRQE-TV in Albuquerque ( http://goo.gl/x2zXLb ) reports that Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School students voted online this week for the theme.

So, the prom king and queen will be taken to the basement and shot.
I saw a bad movie on cable where school kids did the same thing. Came to the school dance dressed as Trotsky, Castro, Yassir Arafat.

The “communism” theme doesn’t surprise me. A look at the school photos indicates, surprisingly, that the students are largely “Anglo-White”; the school is a charter school.
The focus is on International studies and preparation to “thrive at any of the world’s accredited colleges and universities becoming driving forces in their local, regional, national, and global communities”.
Much as I’d expected...Anglo-whites are preparing their children to “go global” and have the ability to become expats. In other words, they see the hand writing on the wall as far as the future of the US is concerned.

That’s irrelevant, to them. We are capitalists so communism is “antiestablishment”. They’re idiots, of course, but since when have teenagers been reasonably called logical?
This will also show up on background investigations for security clearances needed for important military, foreign service, and other positions.
