Hoping his injuries are more superficial than they looked. Prayers up, Mr. Ford.

If I was married to Calista Flockhart, I wouldn’t be wasting my time trying to kill myself in a 70-year-old plane.

Ah, but he didn’t hurt his ‘left wing’, just the aircraft’s, perhaps.

"Fair To Moderate" says
RYOT , looks like a lefty site at that but just saying. "Fords family reportedly told NBC4 that Ford is fine and suffered a few gashes. Officials at the scene described Ford as being in fair to moderate condition." Someone else in one of the previous pages said it sounded bad, so just thought I'd post this.

Reporters! “two seat fighter plane’??? How about a trainer? Ryan PT 22 Recruit. About as docile as you can get. The old Kinner just couldn’t hold up.
He’ll be alright. I’ve walked away from worse.

He’s got a pretty good sized scar chart as is.
Nice landing.

I know he’s a lefty, but I adore him. To me, he’s the last in the line of John Wayne and Gary Cooper - the last American MAN who became a movie star playing the American MAN. After him? A long string of little boys.

I knew a guy that in training crashed his plane into a golf course, his fighter handle became “Divot”

The Maytag Messerschmitt is a fun aircraft to fly but a difficult plane to land and taxi with power and a complete bitch without power. By design it has a higher stall speed to simulate landing a higher performance fighter like a P-40 of the time. Glad he survived without major injury. He needs to get a Stearman or a Pitts Speacial or an RV4 to fill his flying time.

He should have stuck to flying the Millennium Falcon.

In 1977 Ford was born July 1940. Now he’s YOUNGER? He will be 75 this year. Add age to his well-known rep as a serious pot head and NO way should he be flying. Will anyone have the guts to take away his flying priveleges, or will he( like so many other elderly who are too stubborn to face their diminished abilities and go on driving till they kill others) go on flying until he crashes killing others as well as himself-only because of who he is?
