McKay Coppins of BuzzFeed has written a devastating exposé of the brain trust Jeb Bush has gathered around himself in his campaign for the GOP nomination.
In a word, if personnel is policy, Jeb is telling the pro-family community to drop dead.
Coppins points out that virtually every key slot on Bushs campaign team - campaign manager, chief strategist, communications director, adviser - has been filled by an ardent proponent of sodomy-based marriage and special rights based entirely on aberrant sexual behavior.
When Bush officially launches his presidential bid later this year, he will likely do so with a campaign manager who has urged the Republican Party to adopt a pro-gay agenda; a chief strategist who signed a Supreme Court amicus brief arguing for marriage equality in California; a longtime adviser who once encouraged her minister to stick to his guns in preaching equality for same-sex couples; and a communications director who is openly gay.
To an extent that would have been unthinkable in past elections, one of the leading candidates for the Republican presidential nomination has stocked his inner circle with advisers who are vocal proponents of gay rights. And while the Bush camp says his platform will not be shaped by his lieutenants personal beliefs, many in the monied, moderate, corporate wing of the GOP including pragmatic donors, secular politicos, and other members of the establishment are cheering the early hires as a sign that Bush will position himself as the gay-friendly Republican in the 2016 field.
In addition to Kochel, who is expected to run the national campaign, Bush has hired Tim Miller, a star communications and research operative who is gay; longtime aide Sally Bradshaw, whose support for her pro-gay preacher recently showed up in a New York Times profile ; and Mike Murphy, the veteran GOP consultant who joined other prominent Republicans in signing a 2013 brief calling on the Supreme Court to overturn Californias same-sex marriage ban, Proposition 8. What makes this band of operatives unique is not just that they support gay rights, but that many have made it their mission in the past to bring the party along with them.
With his team in place, Bush has attracted a wave of early support from many of the partys most prominent gay rights advocates. Ken Mehlman, the former Republican National Committee chair who authored the Prop. 8 brief, has reportedly been introducing Bush to donors. At least a dozen of the briefs 80 signatories have either endorsed him, donated to him, or gone to work for him. Tom Ridge, the former Homeland Security secretary who regularly preaches LGBT inclusion to his fellow Republicans, has declared himself an enthusiastic Bush-backer.
Twice in this piece the dreaded e word is used. Bush is said to have evolved on the issue in just way President Obama did - just in time to pander to misguided voters and donors with deep pockets.
Jeb himself correctly wrote in 1994,[Should] sodomy be elevated to the same constitutional status as race and religion? My answer is No.
Of course it is impossible for the definition of marriage or the immorality of sodomy to evolve. Marriage has not evolved any more than the universe or life itself. Its definition has been fixed by God since the dawn of time. It was then, is now, and forever will be the union of one man and one woman. Gods moral opinion of homosexual conduct has never changed and never will. It will be a sexual perversion - that is, a perversion of his design for human sexuality - until the end of time.
For a Republican to mess with that is to mess with God, the original purpose of the Republican Party, and the conservative base.
The GOP was founded for two reasons: to preserve natural marriage, responding to a movement to legalize polygamy, and to fight the institution of slavery. Changing the definition of marriage was, to the Republican forefathers, a relic of barbarism. The Republican Party platform was right then and it is right now.
If Bush leads the party away from a robust defense of marriage as God designed it and defined it, the Republican Party will have lost its reason to exist. Social conservatives will abandon the party so fast itll make your eyes water.
That sound of thunder you will hear will be created by the feet of pro-family Republicans stampeding for the exits. They will be gone and will never return. The GOP will be spent as a political force. Itll have its precious big tent with nobody inside.
Its time for social conservatives to armor up. Jeb Bush has thrown down the gauntlet. If conservatives want to save their party, and more importantly save America, step one is stopping Jeb Bush dead in his tracks.

I’m afraid he’ll appoint Eric Holder. That would be a nightmare! I pray for Ruth Ginsberg’s health so he can’t appoint someone worse than she is.
Problem is, not that many registered Republicans are actually all that conservative anymore. Most of the Registered Republicans I know are slight left, which would explain why liberal Republicans get the nomination.
Osorio, a Venezuelan schemer, organized high profile fundraisers, and was in thick w/ Democrats Obama, Hillary and Bill-----and with Jeb Bush.
Osorio donated some $80,000 to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, according to Federal Electoral Commission records. Osorio also donated mega-bucks to the Clinton Global Initiative.
Oops--how'd that get posted? (Snort)
Osorio's shell company, Innovida, submitted falsified documents and received $3.5 million in loans from the US Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) supposedly to build homes in Haiti after the earthquake.
In September 2011, OPIC began questioning Innovida's "negative operating cash flow."
A court appointed receiver in charge of investigating Innovida's finances indicated that "$37.5 million in funds had been moved offshore, but he had so far been unable to find out what happened to the money."
Osorio has used his constitutional privilege of invoking the fifth amendment right against self-incrimination when asked if company funds had been used to pay personal expenses.
Osorio was indicted on two counts of wire fraud and one count of major fraud, amongst other charges.
Federal prosecutors said Osorio defrauded investors from 2007-10, exaggerating the company's finances and pocketing millions of dollars to fund a lavish lifestyle.
The SEC claimed that Osorio had illegally used investor money to pay for a Miami Beach mansion, a Maserati car and a Colorado mountain retreat home.
Jeb Bush agreed to return $270,000 that he was paid as a consultant to convicted fraudster Claudio Osorio and Osorios companies.

AM/GREED also aired a pic of Jeb in Haiti---supposedly looking at Osorio's pre-fab housing project for Haitian refugees (which turned out to be a scam).
POINTS TO PONDER:
<><> The State Dept recently issued a "special management alert"-----that it had "no idea" what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors.....it warned significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at State has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years....under Hillary's watch.
<><> Bill Clinton got his hands on hundreds of million of dollars while Hillary ontrolled the State Dept checkbook..... monies that were meant for Haiti (the place where the Clintons spent their honeymoon).

The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded after Haitis January 12, 2010 earthquake, when President Barack Obama asked former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush to assist the Haitian people in building their own country back better. The Fund is using these donations to make grants, loans, and equity investments in organizations promoting job growth and smart, sustainable economic development.
Jeb Bush honors Hillary on eve of Benghazi 1st year anniversary
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) will honor former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with this years Liberty Medal from the National Constitution Center.
The award will be presented to Clinton on September 10th, the eve of the first anniversary of the terrorist attack on the United States mission in Benghazi that killed four American.
The Christian Science Monitor reports that Bush, a potential GOP contender in the 2016 presidential race, is chairman of the board of trustees of the National Constitution Center located in Philadelphia.
Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy, Bush said in a statement. These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this years Defender of Liberty Medal.
==============================================
Bushs decision to honor Clinton, who is considered by some to be a likely Democrat candidate for president in 2016, was condemned by the Independence Hall Tea Party Association of Philadelphia. According to the Christian Science Monitor, the organization released its own statement Monday, referring to the event as extremely distressing, and offering, instead, an opportunity for another Liberty Medal recipient.
According to the statement: As all of you undoubtedly know, much of the blame for the Obama Administrations failure to contain the Benghazi attack and the scandalous handling of its aftermath, can be traced directly to Ms. Clinton.
Indeed, a Congressional investigation regarding Ms. Clintons role in the cover-up of the Administrations failure is still ongoing.
=====================================================
A newly formed organization, the Independence Hall Foundation, will hold a What Difference Does It Make press conference on Independence Mall, September 10, 4 PM, to denounce the selection of Ms. Clinton as the 2013 Liberty Medal recipient and to offer an alternative award (details below). During the conference, the Foundation will name its choice of recipient(s) for the 2013 Defender of Liberty Medal. Dom Giordano will headline the presser and we certainly hope you will consider joining us. (SOURCE: BREITBART.COM 9/9/13)
I’m not voting third (turd) party, but we must stop Jeb from winning the nomination.
Did you see the absurd polls that show a majority of Republican PRIMARY voters in key states would find OPPOSITION to gay marriage “unacceptable”? Possibly the most BS polls in recent memory.
We’ll see how it all evolves.
Kagan had the weakest resume of any Supreme Court Justice in history. She was an associate at a large law firm for perhaps less than two years. In a big firm that mainly means you are reviewing documents for production; that’s about it.
The rest of her history was spent either as a Democrat bureaucrat or as an academic. No real world legal experience.
In contrast, although I haven’t looked at her bio recently, my memory was that Miers was the managing partner of a large Texas law firm, was president of the Dallas and state bar associations (and I think the first woman for both), was involved in or chaired major committees for the American Bar Association, and had a long trial practice history. As a litigator she had major clients. All this before she went to work for W.
Miers got dissed for one reason: she went to a “no name” law school (SMU) so she got dissed by the liberal media/legal intelligentsia as an intellectual lightweight.
Kagan never got any pushback. Why? Because she was from a “big name” law school and had pushed all the right academic buttons.
Any practicing lawyer will tell you you can get excellent practicing attorneys out of any law school; and that Yale and Harvard turn out more than their fair share of idiots, no matter how brilliant they may have been academically.
Real lawyer qualifications come from practicing in private practice and before the courts—real life experience. A fancy degree may be one indication you could be a good attorney, but what you learn in real law practice is a lot more important.
In case you think I’m just hung up on the law school issue, I disclose that I have a degree from one of those law schools, but I can tell you, the present concentration, especially in the higher federal courts, of judges from a very small pool of law schools is very harmful. Frankly, a lot of these folks are in a different world. They have no concept that their decisions affect everyday folks, and that everyday folks have a right to expect that their decisions should be rendered in a way that normal people can understand and apply.
The ascendancy of the sodomite constituency in the 'Rat Party was not an accident: the 2% roll the 98% in the party of Woodrow Wilson, only 50 years after his death? That' s not an accident. That change was "lubricated" with a lot of gay money that wasn't being spent on wives and children; and now they are doing the same thing with the GOP: Money equals acceptance in the top ranks, the "professional" ranks, of the Party.
Before George W. Bush's decision to support DOMA, there was something called the "Republican Unity Coalition" that was a gay cabal at the top level of the GOP, that claimed senators and finally ex-President Ford as supporters. It was run out of Dubya's campaign functionaries' offices, after Dubya himself had addressed the Log Cabin Republicans at a fancy sit-down dinner during the 2000 GOP Convention..... While Karl Rove held the Christian Coalition's hands over box lunches literally simultaneously; and Mary Matalin worked the gay crowd telling them that opposition to "gay marriage" was illogical and unfair, as part of her pitch for Dubya.
This is just the Republican Unity Coalition all over again.
It was always part of the homosexual movement's agenda, to deprive their opponents utterly of any voice in politics, and this drive to capture the GOP is part of that.
It was revealed a couple of years ago that out-of-state homosexual advocacy money covers 2/3 of our State Democrat Party’s finances. So national homosexual advocacy groups like Human Rights Fund pretty much tell the Democrats what to do in our state.
The queer PRC's figured out years ago, like LBJ in 1940, when he became in effect the Democrat Party's bag man with Herman Brown's and Sam Bass' slush-funding (historian Robert Caro informs us, the MSM having never written about it, that LBJ practically single-handedly turned the election and kept the House of Representatives for the Dems in 1940, a year when Roosevelt needed Congress to go along with Lend-Lease and other West-friendly "neutrality" aid programs), that relatively modest contributions at that level could have big effects in robbing Americans of their political voice.
Please read "PACs" for "PRC's" in my last.
Autocorrect six times rewrote my spelling of "PACs", and I thought I had it correctly edited when I hit "post". It got me at the end, I don't know how. I truly, truly hate "Spell**cker". Thanks, Android. </s>
Since I'm a conservative and I'm backing Walker your statement is false.
” .... your statement is false.”
That has happened before.
I’ve always like Walker but I prefer he not be so wishy washy on amnesty and a few other things. If it’s between Walker and Jeb, I will support Walker 100 out of 100 times.
Fine. But let’s not start the circular firing squad as HiTech RedNeck pointed out in post 20.
Maybe Walker and Cruz could be running mates and their theme song will be “I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked”
