A top political nemesis of President Vladimir Putin was shot and killed early Saturday in central Moscow, Russian police said, one day before an opposition rally was scheduled to take place.
Boris Nemtsov, 55, a former deputy prime minister, was shot four times from a passing car as he was walking on a bridge just outside the Kremlin. Interior Ministry spokeswoman Yelena Alexeyeva told reporters on the scene that Nemtsov was walking with a female acquaintance, a Ukrainian citizen, when a vehicle drove up and unidentified assailants shot him dead. The woman wasn't hurt.

Of course the Kremlin will fill the air with all sorts of fluff and wild theories to create an information overload and you guys will be here to tell us about all of these. Same as with the MH17 (people on the plane were already dead when it took off, Ukrainians wanted to shoot Putin’s plane but missed, etc...).

Yes. A very public assassination that will have a chilling effect on political free speech, for the remaining 25% of the Russians who don't believe their government's propaganda, and who are still able to think for themselves.

The only problem I have with that type of statement is you seem to be implying or suggesting Putin did this and or was directly and personally connected.
