NATIONAL HARBOR, Md.Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker electrified the CPAC conservative audience on Thursday afternoon by asserting the victories he has achieved in his home state can be achieved on a national level.
...Today in Washington, we have a president who thinks we grow the economy by growing Washington,...We believe in an America that is growing the economy in cities and towns all across America.
.....true freedom and prosperity does not come from the mighty hand of the government,..It comes from empowering people to live their own lives and to determine their own destinies..."
...there is a reason we celebrate the Fourth of July instead of April 15, because in America we celebrate our independence from the government not our dependence upon the government.
.....Today, the test scores of the students in our state are the second best in the country. Our graduation rates and our reading scores are up over the past four years, because we put the power back into the hands of the taxpayers and the people they elect to run their school boards....
...We were a state that was taxed and taxed and taxed. After four years as governor, Im proud to say weve reduced the tax burden by nearly $2 billion,..by 2016, homeowners in the state will be paying less in property taxes than they paid in 2010.
...Weve led the way with lawsuits to get regulatory reform,...We defunded Planned Parenthood and signed pro-life legislation...In Wisconsin, you now need a voter ID to cast a ballot.......

One thing is for sure. If Walker or Cruz are nominated, the Left may go postal! :-)
You can take that bet to the bank.
We've seen how "going postal" [their natural state when trying to make themselves appear like a major movement and to get state media coverage] works to their disadvantage - big time.
And then there is Common Core.
Between the 2 issues, we will never be great again.
And they say Ted Cruz is the smartest guy in the room in terms of our candidates...
I have to tell you I saw Gov. Jindal's speech, and he made the Lear Deader look like the banjo player in Deliverance.
Man is he sharp, and his is working his butt off to turn LA around, real executive experience.
My prediction?
Walker / Jindal 2016
The question begs, with Michigan's high Indian Immigration population does Jindal give Walker legs to carry a state like Michigan?
Jindal is very articulate.
Yes, he is; and there is no doubt that he loves this country.
I agree.
Walker at CPAC. Links to all talks.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Hell the guy sounds pretty dang good.
Give me a mike and I can say the same thing real loud and clear too and I believe all would agree with me.
Eartick for President.....
I support the right to work.

They share a common bond: When the going got tough, they both quit their jobs.
“Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker leads former Florida Governor Jeb Bush in an early Nevada 2016 poll.
“In the Gravis Marketing poll that Breitbart News obtained, Walker leads with 27% support among Republicans while Bush is in second with 19%. Sixteen percent of Nevada Republicans answered unsure. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie received 8%, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) received 6%, tied with former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry received 5% while Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), who spent part of his childhood in the state and recently visited Nevada on his book tour, received 4%, along with former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) received 3% while Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal got 1%.
Walker has led in early polls in Iowa and New Hampshire, and Nevada is scheduled to have its 2016 nominating caucuses between New Hampshires first-in-the-nation primary and South Carolinas first-in-the-South primary.”..............
Feb 19, 2015: A new poll of Palmetto State Republicans shows former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker leading the pack among potential 2016 presidential candidates in South Carolina.
Raleigh, N.C.-based Public Policy Polling found that 19 percent of Republicans say they support Bush; 18 percent back Walker. South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who is exploring the idea of a presidential run, was tied at third with neurosurgeon Ben Carson. Both had 13 percent.
Bush leads among voters who identify as moderates; Walker, among those who identify as very conservative, according to a news release...........

I can’t forgive Walker for supporting the domestic terrorist, Cesar Chavez, when he endorsed a state worker holiday to celebrate Chavez’ birthday.
I’m sick of politicians who divide America into racial classes.
Scott Walker backs optional state holiday for union organizer César Chávez
btw - Welcome to FR.
And we cannot TELL you how GRATEFUL We The People of Wisconsin are that this siege is only lasting a few weeks.
Last time around was absolute HELL. We lived it every day for MONTHS on end and at GREAT expense to the Taxpayers to repair all the damage to the building and the grounds. (Millions in repairs were needed. Millions!)
God Bless and Keep Scott Walker! Love My Gov!
And while I am hesitant to lose him, he’s the Real Deal and could right this sinking ship!
