At Shattuck Middle School in Wisconsin, one 8th grade class was assigned homework on the topic of immigration policy in the United States.
The homework, assigned by 8th grade Social Studies teacher Grace Davis, featured a political cartoon with a clearly labeled Democrat laying bricks to convey the building of a “pathway to citizenship,” while the Republican-labeled character is removing the bricks, effectively dismantling any immigration process. The cartoon is originally from the Chattanooga Times Free Press, not the teacher’s own creation.

If every illegal deserves a path to residency and citizenship, then essentially that is saying everyone on earth has a right to American citizenship. There is no other interpretation.
If you can find a method, legal or not to arrive, that is the only thing required of you.

They used to ask me to do these assignments too with my students. My favorite was to give them 15 minutes to write a press release on the then up coming Enola Gay exhibit that was to open at the Smithsonian. 15 minutes for 5 people to agree and come up with a meaningful statement that encapsulates the the war, all that led up to it, the dropping of the A-bomb, and the end of the war. I refused.
Most 8th graders cannot write a coherent sentence let alone make a meaningful statement about immigration. Most 8th graders, if the have an opinion, is simply a parroting of their parents or teachers. At this level they should be doing expository writing, not meaningless opinion pieces.

The Republican should be standing there writing checks on the U.S. Taxpayers account and handing them to Obama and the illegal aliens.

Does the ‘path to citizenship’ do ANYTHING to put all those who LEGALLY applied for citizenship ahead of citizen status of those came here illegally? This gaping double standard (moving the illegals to the front of the line) is not addresses in the quiz.
The Leftists are trying to create a fait accompli to world government and global citizenship.
2/3 of all muslims in American today are immigrants.
Global citizenship only works if US citizens are granted the same freedom of property ownership, right to assemble, and immigration.
Illegal immigrants are not welcome in Mexico.
Legal visitors are not permitted to protest in Mexico.
Non-Mexicans may not own any land Mexico.
Japan does not permit open immigration.
New Zealand established an obesity litmus test for immigration.
This is about dissolving the United States, not opening up the world to global citizenship.

The words “global citizen/citizenship” have been bandied about by the Left more and more in the last 10 or so years.

What a joke. The Republicans are for illegal immigration just as much as the Dems are, but this proves they get no credit for it. All the pandering that Bush, McCain, etc. have done to get the Hispanic vote is for nothing. The impression is still that the Republicans oppose the poor, poor "immigrants." Republicans might as well come out strong against illegal immigration and entice some of the millions who are staying home from the polls in disgust to get out and vote for them, but well...they don't call them the Stupid Party for nothing.
The Left dominates the storytelling industries - government, religion, education, and mass media.
It is imperative that conservatives have as many children as they can afford, teach them conservative principles and values, and inspire them to go into those storytelling industries and dominate them.
I keep hearing this, and yet it is still standing. Only two Senators voted against Mitch's sell out procedural vote yesterday.
