Why couldn't Scott Walker agree that President Obama is a Christian?
Los Angeles Times ^ | February 24, 2015 | Michael McGough

"....In Walker's defense, Tim Graham of the Media Research Center (“Exposing and Combating Liberal Media Bias”) offers this exegesis: “Walker, the son of a Protestant minister, hears the question very differently: asking if someone is a Christian is a very personal question, asking whether someone has committed themselves to Jesus in their heart. It’s like asking if he knows how often Obama prays. His reluctance to answer for someone he doesn’t know is not a ‘No.’ "

Nice try, but the political context of the question was clear and it’s the one Milbank mentioned: the conviction that “Obama is a Muslim from Kenya.”.....

Based on the public record, Walker should have been able to affirm personally what his spokeswoman did: that Obama identifies as a Christian -- and not just a "social justice" liberal Christian. In an interview with Christianity Today in 2008, Obama said that “accepting Jesus Christ in my life has been a powerful guide for my conduct and my values and my ideals.”.......

Saw this on another site.

Walker should just say that he heard Obama say he didn't know what his own Reverend Jeremiah Wright was saying after sitting in his church for 20 years, so if Obama didn't know, then neither does he.

Let the media report THAT answer.

There are some people who are clearly sold out to Jesus, such as Billy and Franklin Graham among a few hundred million others, and it is easy to assume that they are Christians.

Then there are some people who openly claim to be Christians, whose works are such as to cause one to wonder whether they may or may not have received salvation, such as, to be honest, Bill and Hillary Clinton, among a few hundred million others. Until such people bring forth fruits that lead to repentance, their Christianity is between them and God—it may be there, it may not be there.

Then there are people like Barack and Michelle Obama, who, if they were atheists, or Muslims practicing taqiyya, would not speak or act any differently than they do now. To say that they are atheists or Muslims is a presumption based on circumstantial evidence, but to say they are Christians is also a presumption based on circumstantial evidence, though the evidence is much less for the latter.

But I would not say that Obama is not a Christian unless and until Obama says he is not a Christian. God grants Christians the authority to judge those who are within the church, not for the sake of condemnation but for the sake of bringing to repentance, but God does not grant Christians the authority to judge those who are outside the church (I Cor. 5:12-13), and Obama has not been inside the church for at least a decade now.

Because Christians don’t let out Freudian Slips like “My Islamic Faith...”?

Because there are no Christians in pews of the Reverend Wright’s House of Hate?

Interestingly, in the piece the OpEd writer praised Jeb Bush’s response to “Is Obama a Christian?” as being “adroit.”

Their “Gotcha” questioning didn’t work so they are prostituting all their professionalism and ethics to get in a cheap shot about His Arrogance, our beloved Muslim puppet in chief.

“One of the things that’s very important in this day and age is that we don’t use religion as a political tool and certainly that we don’t lie about religion as a way to score political points.” #YouLie!!!

Meanwhile here’s an older interview on faith where Obama was a bit less gung ho on Jesus being the only way to salvation.

Who are the three people to Obama’s right when he flashes the Islam Rules gang sign? They seem giddy as if he is showing those three, or one or more that gesture. I saw this on another post and thought no big deal, but it was a poor quality video and did not show the gesture clearly.
When this photo is shown, with the ISIS thugs making the same hand sign, it changes everything. Obama is signaling who’s side he is on!
Traitor, he is a traitor. (Period, paragraph)

You’ve got it RIGHT.

Because, he’s NOT.

When these people talk about Christians, it's like they're Star Trek officers discussing an alien culture on some other planet.

In a way, they are, I suppose: Christianity IS alien to most Journo-list types, who were raised on the Gospel of Social Justice and Cultural Marxism.

Why does Scott Walker become obligated to perform according to the wishes of some gaggle of quasi-journalists because they can formulate one of their usual “gotcha” questions? They are lazy pieces of crap who have become accustomed to re-”reporting” government press handouts. They are deserving of utterly zero respect.

And the fact of the freaking matter is: Nobody should forget that interview with Geo Stephanopoulos when 0bama said “...my Muslim faith”.

Because ladies and gentlemen...that utterance got by his little filter. And it is NO WAY NO HOW something you or I or anyone else would say (barring duress and or barring deliberate deception) different than THE TRUTH.

I happen to be Jewish. I wouldn’t say I was Catholic to anyone. Or Presbyterian. Or Hindu. I just wouldn’t. And nobody else would either, if they stated a specific religion in the first place.

And nobody, nowhere, needs a 750 word Dana Milbank article to know that with perfect certainty.

http://www.patheos.com/blogs/thedudeabides/obama-on-faith-the-exclusive-interview/

“I believe that there are many paths to the same place . . . All people of faith — Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone knows the same God . . . Jesus is an historical figure for me, and he’s also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And he’s also a wonderful teacher. I think it’s important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.”

- Barack Hussein Obama (allegedly a Christian)

Anyone who thinks Obama is a Christian has a very broad definition of Christianity. Anyone who thinks Obama is the Antichrist is even more deluded. The real Antichrist will be just as evil and anti-Christian as Obama, but he will also be far more energetic and intelligent. Considering how dangerous and destructive Obama is, the thought of facing the real thing is frightening.

I would say that Obama is the first POTUS ever to have his faith or patriotism questioned. Why is that? It's because of his actions, which lead to perceptions.

I've never seen him in church except at a funeral. After an ISIS beheading, he played golf. Those actions lead to questions by most normal Americans, which of course does not include the MSM.

Momar Gadaffi said that Baraq Hussein Ubama was a muslim.

That must be why the President had him whacked.

Because Christians NEVER say "My Muslim faith" by accident. EVER! They wouldn't WEAR A RING IN TRIBUTE TO ALLAH or bash Christians at the National Prayer Breakfast or refuse to say 'Islamic extremists' or help ISIS in Iraq by telling WHEN the U.S. is withdrawing, or in Mosul by letting them know when the Iraqi assault will take place, etc., etc..

He’s been to church 8 times since he was elected President. He says it would be too distracting for the other people in the church.

This wasn’t the case with any previous president.

And what “public record” would that be, the one where Obama sat in Rev Wrights church for 20 years not hearing what he was saying or the one where Obama has proven to repeatedly lie to the American people. Those two alone lend clear credence to the idea Obama is not a Christian. Add to that his Muslim upbringing and his over the top support for radical Muslims (oops used the words) and it is even more questionable. And, what is in those unreleased college records and other records that should be public but are not in the case of Obama.

He saw to it that the ‘non-muslim’ terrorist Osama Bin Laden got a taxpayer funded respectful muslim funeral.
