There has been no shortage of news coverageand criticismregarding comments I made about President Obama at a political gathering last week in New York. My blunt language suggesting that the president doesnt love America notwithstanding, I didnt intend to question President Obamas motives or the content of his heart. My intended focus really was the effect his words and his actions have on the morale of the country, and how that effect may damage his performance. Let me explain. (clip)........
Obviously, I cannot read President Obamas mind or heart, and to the extent that my words suggested otherwise, it was not my intention. When asked last week whether I thought the president was a patriot, I said I did, and would repeat that. I bear him no ill will, and in fact think that his personal journey is inspiring and a testament to much of what makes this country great.
I hope and pray that President Obama can rise to the occasion and underscore Americas greatness as our history and values merit. If he does so, I will be the first to applaud him. But I can only be disheartened when I hear him claim, as he did last August, that our response to 9/11 betrayed the ideals of this country. When he interjected that we tortured some folks, he undermined those who managed successfully to protect us from further attack.

She looks like a dude in drag.
That's Ann Coulter.
Great. Giuliani finally says what everyone else in the world is thinking and then walks it back.
No wonder he wasn’t elected President.
I just hope this doesn’t provide “closure” on the issue and allow the subject to be dropped. I want it to drag on and on with all kinds of details about Frank Davis and all of Obama’s socialist influences and connections finally getting aired for people to see.
I don’t think he’s backing down, I think he’s backing it around.
It’s called “keeping your story in the news.”
Not so sure he really walked it back. This is all he said in the first place. The media are the ones who attributed all the personal digs to it. Rudy just said that his blunt language led to the ongoing media circus and he never intended all the extrapolation.
NSA
I so agree with you. Somebody of prominence needed to throw this out on the table and hopefully a “National Debate” will result from it.
And, hopefully, that discussion, this side of the next “BIG EVENT”.............will lead to the removal of this man from office.
Rudy’s waffling - caving in under massive pressure from Liberals (especially the vast sea of Obama’s hardcore constituency, racialist Black Leftists) in love with the Marxist-in-Chief and all his freebies for his peeps.
Rudy should have doubled down instead, said “Obama is a commie f***tard and if you don’t like what I say about him because he still gives you cracker f*ggots a thrill up your leg, you can go straight to hell, which is where all commie f*ggots end up anyway.”
That’s got a nice ring to it, I like your style.
Thanks.
I don’t think Giuliani caved due to pressure from liberals. I think he caved due to pressure from Republicans: “You’re hurting our guys. They’re all being asked about this. We have to stay moderate and not alienate those in the middle.” You know - the Republican strategy for losing the country to anti-American Marxists.
Donald Trump has come close to saying the same things, but Trump has the countenance and credibility of a vastly overpaid Circus Barker trying to get drunk youths to visit his bar and restaurant with the freak show upstairs.
>>>You could make an apple pie on that face<<<
I’m sure she prefers Frosting.
Physically beautiful no doubt, with the heart of a viper.
Maybe I’m being too hard on Giuliani.
After six years of the current regime getting a free pass, and everyone calling the Criminal-in-Chief everything from Genius to the Second Coming, I just wish someone with some media clout would stand up and shout, “The emperor has no clothes!”
