Are government climate agencies tampering with climate data to show warming? Some Republicans think so. California Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher says to expect congressional hearings on climate data tampering.

Rohrabacher serves as the vice chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, which has jurisdiction over NASA and other agencies that monitor the Earth’s climate.
Rohrabacher has long been critical of the theory of man-made global warming. Lately, the California Republican has criticizing NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for allegedly tampering with temperature data to create an artificial warming trend. Such data is then used to justify regulations aimed at curbing fossil fuel use and other industrial activities.

Did you hear the governments latest cost saving measure?
They’re asking for bids for somebody to build them a satellite that just transmits triple digit temperature readings to ground stations around the globe.
It avoids the cost of designing, building, and testing a bunch of expensive equipment, and guarantees the desired results.
I thought NASA’s primary mission was to help ragheads feel better about themselves.
I expect them to look into it, then rubber stamp it for political gummy bears.
I want hearings into the hearings into hearings about the hearings related to the hearings on the hearings that developed after the hearings on the hearings on....I forget.

Good finally. a democrat controlled Congress would never hold government accountable for their fraud. global warming is a hoax .
Abolish 99% of government agencies like NASA, EPA,IRS ,FDA ,HUD, government schools etc. They tax us to death and take away our freedom.
government/socialism is the problem not the solution. the problem is also the media (democrat party).

Like the Dept. of Energy and any number of other federal “featherbed” agencies, NASA obviously doesn’t have enough to do.

NASA has a lot of assets like satalites, telescopes, airports, launch pads and so on. I would hate to see any
of that go to the UN or the Chinese. I don’t trust either
party to put anything together that would take it’s place.
The only other place would be the military and it’s industrial
complex. Then you would have a few treaties to deal with.
NASA does need to go or at least it’s administration.
These hearings will be meaningless if no one ends up in jail for fraud.
Excellent summary. The Man Made Global Warming hoax, if they have their way, will take away all the freedoms we have enjoyed since this nation was born. For instance:
On Friday night’s Lars Larson show they had a woman describing how there are people in the Obama Regime working to eliminate all animal meat products from our diet. This is to reduce the impact such agricultural activities have on carbon emissions. No longer will we be able to eat a nice steak or barbecue a tender rack of pork ribs. Animal products will be no more because of the hoax.
Because of the hoax, NASA is spending all of their resources monitoring the Earth rather than space exploration. Much of it is driven by the hoax which is a manufactured crisis designed to drive federal funding. It is easier to throw up a satellite to monitor clouds; and get a fat paycheck, than it is to put a mining operation on the moon. If these lefties had not hijacked NASA, we would have put men on Mars. They would have not left Mars without knowing its value to man’s future.
Perhaps Gowdy or Issa can investigate; heck, the hot air created alone may offset any threat of global warming.

Even if no one goes to jail I would be all right with that if the former was accomplished. Mind you I would prefer that Al Gore and his ilk go to jail for a long time but IMO changing the public mindset is the better goal.
