For the first time since proclaiming amnesty for illegals shortly after election, Obama approval took a serious tumble over past three days. Was it the smack down by the Texas judge? Gas up 30 cents in the last week? Or did Guilani strike a nerve sounding like Joe Average Freeper? Something else?

A few days ago they said he had 50% approval which I did not believe. I do not believe anything I hear from Gallup anymore.

I think O has less than 30% approval.

Of all the troubling things of this comrade’s time in office, and they are many, this is the worst. If this almost 50% figure is anywhere near the truth, then the situation is far worse than any of us imagine. With all that has happened under the comrade, it should be no more than about 20%, if even that much.

The point is, he was higher a week ago. He’s never been below 38% at any time in the past 6 years. At the time of the ‘14 elections, he was at 40 %, then started to climb and hit 50% approval for the first time in two years on January 26. He has dropped 6 points in the past week. My guess is that the rise in gas prices is the reason ,among the many people who pay little attention to politics.

You may be surprised I still find strong support for him in the California jewish community which astounds me given his antisemitic bent. Besides that its kids, mexicans, government workers and union employees. and the core liberal left.

I see them every day on Indy news site comment sections. Businesses and Insurance companies are to blame for loss of Health Insurance, The Chapel Hill shooter was a Christian TEA Partier who just hates Muslims, and the Republicans started the KKK to keep blacks from voting Democrat.

Not that I spend a great deal of time there, but I can see it in my Facebook newsfeed - people are wrapped up in their favorite TV shows, or just about anything other than politics (there is one segment of the population in particular that is guilty of this, but I'll refrain from starting a gender war). There is about 11%-12% of the population that could make a difference but won't because their priorities are whacked.
