During a speech at the Democratic National Committee meeting on Friday, President Obama openly mocked Republicans for obstructing his policies, and took credit for an improving economy.
Obama claimed that Republicans are shifting their rhetoric to appeal to more middle class Americans, but that their policies remained the same.
“There is this old saying, you can’t just talk the talk … you gotta walk the walk!” he said. “We’ve been walking the walk.”
Obama rehashed a lot of his second term agenda in the speech, calling for more tax hikes on the wealthy to support government programs for the middle class including reducing student loans, free child care, and free community college as well as mandatory minimum wage hikes, paid leave, and equal pay for women.
“Until they want to walk and not just talk, we’re going to keep offering the American people something better,” Obama said referring to the Republicans, accusing them of trying to cut programs for the less fortunate.

He took credit for an improving economy? What part? The $18 trillion in debt? The record low labor participation rate? The record number of people on food stamps? Anemic business start ups? What?
Obama loves America - to POOP on.
Look at what’s behind that recovery. Trillions in debt, in the name of Keynesian “stimulus”. More reckoning put off to the future, in the form of QE1 — QE3. At some point this sort of “stimulus” becomes lethal to an economy.
The real economic stimulus came from low energy prices — which, in turn came from a “drill-baby-drill” policy that all Democrats derided as unworkable, and opposed at every step of the way.
Look at me. I’m the greatest! He doesn’t have a clue how he looks to us NOR does he care. An arrogant, belligerent jerk of the highest order...

Obama thinks his policies will help the middle class.
What would the “Progressives” do if we felt the same way? Who would produce the necessary growth to sustain their way of life?
Don’t they just love their little rhymes? “If it fits, you must aquit!”, etc.
