Now that a federal judge has held Obama's illegal executive amnesty unconstitutional, perhaps U.S. senators will remember that they swore to uphold the Constitution, too.
Back when they needed our votes before the last election, Republicans were hairy-chested warriors, vowing to block Obama's unconstitutional "executive amnesty" -- if only voters gave them a Senate majority. The resulting Republican landslide suggested some opposition to amnesty.
Heading into the election, college professor Dave Brat took out the sitting House majority leader and amnesty supporter Eric Cantor in a primary, despite being outspent 40-1. It was the greatest upset in history since the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" at the Lake Placid Olympics: Never before has a House majority leader been defeated in a primary. And Brat did it by an astonishing 55.5 percent to 45.5 percent.
Again, the voters seemed to be expressing disquiet with amnesty.
After that, even amnesty-supporting Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., was denouncing Obama's executive amnesty. "If the president were to do that," he said, "and we have a Republican majority in the United States Senate, why, we have a number of options that we don't now have to remind him to read Article I of the Constitution."
Poll after poll showed Americans ranking illegal immigration as the No. 1 most important problem facing the nation. We haven't changed our minds. Last week, an Associated Press-Gfk poll showed that Obama's single most unpopular policy is his position on illegal immigration.
In other words, Obamacare is more popular than amnesty. That's like losing a popularity contest to Ted Bundy.

I don’t know where Romney stand now on illegal aliens (why would one care?) but during his pee-poor presidential campaign his one strong point was that immigration laws had to be enforced which would cause wetbacks to “self-deport”.
If I recall correctly he took a lot of heat from Democrats and RINOs for that position.
I dont always agree with her but she is right on amnesty.
***
While I don’t dispute that, my point was that she is not to be trusted. I once considered her a true conservative, but, while she does frequently make great comments that I can wholeheartedly agree with, I now see her as an attention addict who may or may not really believe her own words.
Looks like Ann put her finger in the wind and decided to go with it.
Do a search on this site using these words...’Anne Coulter: ‘Shysters’ who attack ‘establishment’ GOP risk control of Senate’.
This is from last February. Funny how bipolar she can be.
I suspect she craves attention from the in crowd so she writes or says crap like that.
Now that she wants attention from the masses and having seen the tea leaves from the election last fall she wants to be a player.
I would not turn my back on her...However she did put to words in her latest column exactly how I feel about the RINO Herd in charge at the RNC.
I just received a questionaire from the RNC about the 16 election. I have printed Anne’s Column and will be sending it back along with a few words of encouragement. ;)
BTW-Where did the RNC ship Pee Wee Priebus off too after the election?
He’s been missing in action for quite a while after he claimed if Elected the RINOS would use any and all means possible to stop Obama’s Ex. Order/actions and ObamaCare. Then the RINOS caved during the budget mess in December and Pee Wee disappeared.
Mmmmm, No,no I’m not.
She’s shopped herself around quite a bit over the last six years and called those of who disagreed with her opinion quite bit worse than my description of her.
She wasn’t the least bit hesitant when she did it and it went on for nearly 2 years.
As far as I’m concerned she should be in the same category as Warner Todd Huston.
Can’t believe no one remembers her shenanigans over Romney and that “Fat Basstuhd” from New Jersey and the gall she demonstrated with very ascerbic insults to the rest of us for not being as erudite as she apparently is/was.
She went on long enough that I ended up tossing two of the books she wrote in the garbage and put her in the same category as Rove.
I see either on TV or hear then in the radio and it’s “Adios Muchachos”.
ok. thanks,
:)
But the bony nag says “Please vote for Christie, Mittens, or Jeb.”
How did she shop herself around?
Huh?
Am I the only one who remembers her vacuous diatribes?
Im planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and water until he agrees to run again. I think he was a fantastic candidate.
During that same interview, Ms. Coulter also called Sen. Ted Cruz a disaster on illegal immigration,
“@GovChristie’s dead to me,” Coulter said in a tweet to the Republican she once championed as the party’s only hope to capture the White House in 2012

If we dont run Chris Christie, Romney will be the nominee and well lose, Coulter said when asked about her predictions for the next presidential election.

Coulter disagreed, defending Romney during the 2012 campaign as a staunch conservative, who flipped on one issue his entire life and he flipped in my direction and Im happy about it
abortion. She also asserted, Romney is far more free market than any recent Republican candidate, including George Bush.
I do trust Romney to cut a lot of government more than Ronald Reagan did.

Chick is a crackpot
But Wait!!! There’s more!!!
You have rightly warned us about the danger of nominating candidates deemed electable and moderates by establishment Republicans and the media. But some conservatives strongly believe that is what Romney was. Do you see how they may feel they are getting a mixed message from you?
To quote Rahm Emanuel, theyre f-ing retarded. Romney was the most conservative candidate weve run for president in my lifetime on the single greatest danger facing the nation

The audio is on longer available but, you’ll get the drift.

I think the word “illegal” was an adjective for the border jumpers, not for the executive action. Anyway, the Constitution is the law, so . . . illegal.
I know I’m repeating myself, but why is anyone here against a forceful anti-amnesty celebrity and columnist?
Don’t call her an attention whore. You need attention if you’re going to get your message out. Just maybe she cares about getting the message out.
Ann has taken some positions that make her very unpopular among certain brainwashed audiences. I heard her defend traditional marriage before a large group of, mostly, her fans, and the morons didn’t clap. Well, one moron did.
Her work with GOProud was to persuade them to drop the gay-marriage drum-beating. Yet some here want to berate her for that too.
Stop the junior high school stuff and pay attention to what’s happening and who’s on our side. End of lecture.
Leave the bong or the martini glass alone.
You make no sense.
Don’t bother clapping your hands, in self adulation and applause, you’ll probably miss.
Sorry! I don’t usually respond to seventh graders.
Now sit nicely with your hands on your lap.
You asked for more depth about my claim.
