There are two problems in this section of Collins's column: First, she accuses Walker of dishonesty, but she's just quibbling over semantics. Is it really inaccurate to describe someone named an "outstanding first-year teacher" by the Wisconsin Council of Teachers of English as a "teacher of the year" for short? I've never seen much of a difference: In the headline of this 2011 piece, I described Sampson as a "teacher of the year," but in the body of the piece I precisely described her award. Walker has been telling this story for four years, and no one thought his description of Sampson was dishonest until Gail Collins heard about it.

You need a correction, if Bush is the nominee in the Republican primary..........
Just think how that election will turn out if there are 5 expected primary candidates and their supporters felt the same WHINE as you and decide to stay home simply because THEIR GUY wasn't nominated.........
Yea, my guy didn't win so I'm stayin' home......that certainly makes a lot of sense......NOT!.....Unbelievable stupidity.
There is only ONE”Problem:”The New York SLIMES”!!!Boy,are they EVER SCARED of SCOTT WALKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Collins is the thoroughly daft Slimes columnist who wrote a book suggesting that women who reach sixty should divorce their husbands to go find themselves. Well, you can find Collins...at the nuthouse called the Slimes building.
If it is between Bush and Hillary, I will not vote for Hillary because I don't like Bush. I will swallow hard and vote for Bush even though I like Cruz and Walker. Sitting on our hands in another presidential election will only help get another socialist/communist clone elected.
Here in Kansas there was a huge fuss last week that Brownbeck was cutting the school budget. Nooooooo. Then the story was researched and it turns out that the budget is substantially higher this year but not as high as the unions were demanding.
For the lefties, it's always "first the sentence, then the trial".
And the trial is in a kangaroo court.
Notice no mention of the democrat governor who did that. Diamond Jim Doyle.
Not to mention pushing the Supreme Court to the far left.
Great point that many people overlook. Thanks.
