"BATFE To Ban Common AR-15 [Ball] Ammo"

That will just make it more expensive.

And all the M855 ammo stock is now sold out. Gee, that was fast.

That’s just another law which will need to be repealed on the next inauguration day.

Day 1.

The BATFE “proposal” doesn’t meet legal scrutiny of what constitutes an AP rifle round fired out of a “handgun”. They know as well as everyone else that the M855 is not “armored piercing,” and that because it may be fired out of a “AR Pistol” does not gives them justification to ban a very common the centerfire rifle round.

BATFE is the scum of the earth.

Tyranny such as what that putrid organization foments should be resisted on general principle.

Turning every gun owner into a criminal via arbitrary regulations seems to be the plan.

The Supreme Law of the Land gives the “BATF” no law-making powers.

Here’s the law:

“[T]he right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

About 18 months to two years ago, I was at my local WM early one morning and spotted several 30 caliber ammo cans of Olin M855/SS109 on 10 round stripper clips for $175. I bought two cans. A couple of months later more came in and I picked up another can. But by that time, the price had gone up to $199. I’d seen the same thing pictured in an ad on Craigs list (before it got pulled) for the same thing going for $400.

This same store still sells the same make ammo in the cans, but it’s M193.
