“Fascists have their foot in the door and you dont care. Weve gotten along without national ID cards for our entire history, including during the darkest days of WWII, and there is absolutely no legitimate need to require them now.”
Their feet are not just in the door, with Obama the last 6 years they are down the hall, sitting on the living room couch, and making us serve them tea.

Despite the wild rhetoric of this blog post, having an ID is simply necessary in todays world. There is nothing radical or unconstitutional about it. Suggesting that people should be allowed on airline flights without an ID is ridiculous. But some state issued drivers licenses would not qualify as being Real ID compliant. I'm not sure whether or not a Texas DL is Real ID compliant, but I have both an US book passport and a passport card.

Thanks for checking! I figured that’s what would turn up. I think whomever’s website this article was on is getting a kick back from that retire overseas company. That’s why I posted what I did. Seems suspicious that they post such an alarmist article and then conveniently have the fix there for you.

You’re welcome!
I like to research, especially when the article mixes present day info with futuristic stuff, like this one did.

Huh, no credible source reporting this move by the TSA? Have you actually been reading the news lately? There have been several "legitimate" reports about this development, which is quite remarkable given the LSM's aversion to reporting anything that could caste its Lord and Master Obama in a bad light... unless you're referring to the talk of the situation spiraling out of control and devolving into tyranny for us Americans, in which case you should just come right out and admit you do not believe in logical inference. However, I don't know of anything that would more reliably indicate a massive amount of tinfoil was at play.

Yes, that article was terrible. What a mess those parents made for their daughter.

That’s true.
I can see the parents waiting to get the soc sec # till the kids are old enough to work (I didn’t get mine till I worked)
BUT
for them not to get birth certificates for the kids is stupid.
That is how one proves who their parents are, and that one is an american citizen..

Claiming dependents & soc sec #.... that’s the “hook” the feds use.
Back when I was a kid, that wasn’t the rule.
But when people started claiming a bunch of exemptions with no kids to show for it, that’s when the rules changed.
And in that thread about the lady with no birth cert or soc sec #, I linked to where there was a court case with the ladys dad, where he had a wrangle with the irs over his corporation that he claimed was a church.

Yep I saw that link. It was a good article. I agree about why the social security requirement started. People ripping off the IRS.

GA kept putting it off but I had to do it in Oct when my old license expired. You would not believe the paperwork I had to takedown there.

What, you have to have a passenger's license, too?
How about those in private vehicles, are those passengers going to have to have a "real" ID, How about bicycles, walking?
You are advocating the slippery slope if you mean a Federal ID.
Are you advocating holding up the commuter train while some slackjawed Federal employee checks IDs, or do you want the retina scans 'cause they are quicker, or how about chipping everyone? That is where this is going.
Not only no, but Hell No!
If my state says my ID is sufficient, it should be in all 50 states. Period.

Are you paralyzed from the neck down? Or have you just never heard of
Google News? Maybe you just don't know how to use it.
I'm sure there are plenty of Google tutorials on YouTube. Do you need that url? Do you know what a url is? Do you know what is is? Criminy, man, do your own research. I told you these sources were out there. I didn't know I'd have to lead you by the hand.
