A carjacker who led police on a high-speed chase on Dallas highways was attacked and wrestled to the ground by a woman furious that the man had hit her minivan with her 4-year-old son inside.

The female of the species...
I was born and raised in Northern Virginia and boy howdy am I glad I moved to Texas 40 years ago where if they try to kill you it’s legal to try to kill them back.
Why do you automatically assume she was not married to the kids father? Maybe she was, maybe he died? Instant judgement without any facts. This kind of crap makes FR look bad.
Still one of my all time favorites.
Why are you upset at her church? They have their church law, put in place before they knew anything about you. The law was not personal, nor personally judgmental - it is simply the codifying of their standards.
Would you ask to join a baseball team and insist that you get to swing until you get a hit? And would the church of baseball be “judgmental and probably constipated” because they insisted that the rules applied to you?
I’m not making any statement regarding your marital situation - that’s your business. I do object to the way you vilify a group of people just because their rules and your situation were in conflict.
Yep, The Barry Newman version or the Viggo version, I’ll watch either one if their on.
We moved from Houma, La. to Houston when I was 9 yrs old.
I'm 20 miles south of Houston, down by Johnson Space Center. ...close to Galveston bay.
Great schools & neighborhoods.
...come on, just lock the gate behind you. hehe
Only seen the Newman one. I love movies with western scenery.
Left in ‘68. Nothing better for my soul than to do nothing but riding down to the county and just taking it all in when I visit. (My family thinks I'm weird that way. :) ).
Two minutes later he’s up and around like nothing happened.
“I love movies with western scenery.”

Viggo does a good job (as usual).
“Artrai”
Isn’t that a Klingon or Romulan name?
I’m sorry. I find nothing whatsoever admirable about this lady.
She did not take into account the danger she put her family in when she assaulted this idiot, who very well could have injured her and her children. She did not know that he had just been on a high speed chase. He could have just as likely been a father rushing to the hospital having been told his child was there.
Long story short, she just went off. She indulged her emotions not her better judgement. She acted like an ignorant fool.
I think I belong to that particular constipated faith you refer to.
Yeah, I see that now. The video I saw yesterday was not as complete as this one.
His behavior is very odd, to say the least.
I wasn’t addressing her actions, only the fact that you assumed she was not married to the kids father. Yes, she very well could have gotten hurt, she acted out of emotion, etc etc. I can agree with you on her ACTIONS, but not your assumption that she was never married to the kids father. He could have just as easily been a vet who was killed in Iraq, for all we know. The article doesn’t say.
I do stand corrected for what was an unmerited assumption on my part. If as you say, she was the widow of a veteran I would even maybe begin to understand her over the top reaction.
My comment itself may have been emotional. I’ve worked with so many young boys here in DC that are victims of their parents inability to respect marriage. The worst cases were those who had “the boyfriend” living in the house. On the flip side, there have been some awesome single mother tiger mom’s type - those kids were usually pretty buttoned up.
That's what I say when watching episodes of "Cops" when the dog has cornered the perp. "C'mon, guys, let the pooch chew on him a little."
Really?????
The Dip Stick Jack Wagon religion?
