Police charged a Chapel Hill man Wednesday with first-degree murder in the deaths of three Muslim students in a quiet neighborhood near Meadowmont, just south of N.C. 54.
Craig Stephen Hicks, 46, is being held in the Durham County Jail on three counts of first-degree murder.
Hicks is accused of shooting his Finley Forest neighbors, Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, and his wife Yusor Abu-Salha, 21, and Abu-Salhas sister, Razan Abu-Salha, 19, of Raleigh.
Police said in a statement Wednesday morning that a dispute about parking in the neighborhood of rented condominiums may have led to the incident.

Anything to avoid the fact that he’s a self described militant atheist, ultra leftist hater of all things tea party.
Would the victims’ religion be such a prominent part of this story if they were Jewish or Catholic or Buddhist or ...?
Parking dispute?
Someone on the other thread said it would be interesting to see how this is spun.
Um..........No.
Lies. An unending stream of lies from the media.
Victims were Muslim? Well then expect a hate crime charge to be added.
Cair has called for an investigation.
Right after the Oklahoma beheading of the Christian woman is addressed.
Do you mean “The Muslim beheading of a Christian woman”?
Deah Shaddy Barakat, Yusor Mohammad, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha

Well, there is your murder over a parking spot that anti-gunners claim happen all the time.
And for Obama to claim it was terrorism.
Meanwhile, in Chicago......
Sounds like a failure to a simulate.
Flashback
Mohammad Taheri-azar, a 2005 UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, tried to kill multiple people with his SUV in the Pit at UNC and told the courtroom that he was thankful for the opportunity to spread the will of Allah.
When asked if he was trying to kill people, he said yes. He acted to avenge the death of Muslims around the world.
It obviously had nothing to do with religion. However, this will be called a hate crime because the perp was not a headchopper and the victims were towelheads.
Yes. Many thanks!!
