Catherine Herridge from Fox, reported that she was traveling with her Syrian boyfriend when the car was forced off the road. Evidently there is evidence that the car was specifically targeted because she was in it. Both she and her boyfriend were taken hostage, but the boyfriend was released by ISIS. It was initially thought he was a part of the kidnapping but later proven not to be the case. At some point he went to ISIS and asked for her release but was refused.
Didn’t see that. Thanks for the information. It does make you wonder about the boyfriend. If the boyfriend didn’t set her up, maybe it was someone he knew.
Sadly, women have no idea what they are getting into when they fall in love over there, or even over here with an Islamic adherent.
Once you have kids and things go south, don’t ever expect to see your children back in the U. S. again, if ever at all.
Is it the bad boy factor, or what exactly is it that attracts women to situations that are this dangerous?
Alternate theory: the boyfriend was in on it, brought her to Syria, and hoped to get a big ransom payoff.
