Jeb Bush, a rumored 2016 Republican presidential candidate, just decided to publish hundreds of thousands of emails sent to him during his time as governor of Florida. On its face it seems like a great idea in the name of transparency, but there's one huge problem: neither Bush nor those who facilitated the publication of the records, including the state government, decided to redact potentially sensitive personal information from them.
"In the spirit of transparency, I am posting the emails of my governorship here," a note on Bush's website says. "Some are funny; some are serious; some I wrote in frustration." Some also contain the email addresses, home addresses, phone numbers, and social security numbers of Florida residents. The emails are available in Outlook format, and can be searched on the web at Bush's website.

Ya that’s it, it’s a spook in the Bush camp that did this!
For a family court judge, it is always privacy first for children when the underhanded deals must go on, but if politically useful to support gays or abortion, they will parade emails and children and all.
Spirit of transparency? I think that POS wanted to let the left feed on that to attack conservatives.
Since access to these emails has already been removed, can you tell us more or less what they were saying about Terri Schiavo?
What a maroon. Feeds into that stereotype libs love of “dumb Republican.” I hope this finishes him as a candidate. We deserve better. (And smarter!!!)
The emails are still there. The link seems to have changed. Here’s the link just derived: http://jebbushemails.com/email/results/20050331
If that doesn’t take You to that day just click on the calendars below and go to March 31, 2005.
Don’t worry, they’ll be running his nephew in a few more years....He was the one who went down into Mexico to campaign for yet another of the Bush dynasty.
*************************
Who is this nephew of Jeb’s that you refer to?
Bush 43 was the smartest one of the clan and a great Prez.
Jeb wannabe is not in the same league, IMO.
He should be sued.
Thanks! We love our new location!
Yeah, like 5 to 10, which is what the rest of us would get for being so stupidly negligent.
Seems they have somehow fiddled with the indexing. That link you posted is date specific - the numbers at the end is year / month . date. But it links to the main page.
Yesterday, I shared a link with a woman whose cell number was in her email and then, that link went directly to the specific email. Not the case now, but the email (with cell number) can still be found using the calendar.
I read the updates at the link- I could see there are many, MANY names with ssn info etc.
Why he felt this was necessary in the FIRST place is beyond me. However, upon deciding this was a good idea it should have been done with microscopic intensity focused on privacy.
This is a disaster and I hope ends it for him.
He wouldn't be any worse than the Muzzie-lovin' d**khead that's there now.
Anything from Lois Lerner?
Unintended consequences! [or, was it?]
And he wants to be pezident.
One and done!
I hope he stays in though, just to provide a target for the drive-by media shills.

Ladies and gentlemen: our next losing GOP Presidential nominee!
PING!
“And we thought W was the dumb one.”
They all are the dumb ones. At least the politicians are.
The Bush family are bankers. The ones that don’t cut it
go into politics.
>>Id have to say that Jeb is none too bright.
Yeah, but the star he fell from is still twinkling.
