MMAN, Jordan — Jordan has deployed "thousands" of troops at its border with Iraq as it ramps up a campaign against ISIS militants who set a pilot ablaze, two Jordanian government officials told NBC News on Tuesday.
The troops were sent to prevent the infiltration of ISIS fighters into Jordan and as a show of force, according to the sources who spoke on condition of anonymity.

It should be remembered that when Arafat and his fellow mass-murdering thugs tried to overthrow Jordan in 1970, the Jordanian army kicked their asses so hard that the survivors fled to the border and gave themselves up to the Israelis.
Jordan has a decisive leader.
I wish GWB would stand up and say something. He didn’t want Iraq to become a terrorist state, and that’s exactly what it’s becoming because Obama abandoned it as it was being put under the rule of law.
Please, W, I know you’re a gentleman who doesn’t attack or oppose Obama and the Dems, but for God’s sake, stand up and say something, if only for the sake of the parents of the many sons and daughters lost trying to protect Iraq.
GWB’s only interest was keeping Iraq out of Saudi Arabia.
GWB did not and does not “care” about Iraq. GWB wanted Saddam’s head on a platter and he got it.

Right and decided then and there that that was where they came from and where they belonged. Amazing. Never confuse the people over there with facts.
What are the troops going to have on the border with them? Certainly not infantry! Tanks? Can we back them up with battle groups sent to the Mediterranean as Ollie North suggested? It better be big and powerful enough to anilihate them.
