"Manchin will have to explain to his constituents why he stood by cloddishly and sheepishly while his party leader shredded our constitution and let thousands of dangerous criminals out of jail so they can enjoy some of the same benefits as West Virginias."

No he won't! Do you think anyone in the mainstream press is going to call him out on it? Not a chance. He's shown to be your average double talk politician who will do or say anything to get elected. The only thing the mainstream press will do is publish his statements on how he wants to get "tough" on immigration.

He wants a separate immigration bill along with all the corporatist RINOs so they can codify their own amnesty instead.

Its so transparent, its pathetic.

Manchin’s act is getting old. He tells West Virginia voters how he disagrees with those crazy liberals in Washington, how he’s for everything they are for, he shoots a bullet through regulations but that’s about all he does. After making a lot of noise, he pretty much does what his party leaders tell him to do. Every once in a while they let him vote against the party to build up his “independent” credibility but its never when it counts.

Manchin is playing poker. If it appears that the 2016 senate race will be close he may switch parties - if Mcconnell will offer him a good deal.

Just another democrat in a state that’s become Conservative attempting to appear “moderately conservative” so he can keep his seat while working to advance the socialist democrat agenda.

Pelosi and Reid are just sitting back laughing planning on the next term 2017 when they have control of congress again.

I predict that Manchin will sooner or later declare himself an Independent or perhaps a Republican and run for another term as West Virginias Governor.

Ah come on. Everybody in Washington knows that Manchin has the courage of a “GERBIL”. That’s why he is in the senate. Show me a senator, other than Ted Cruz, that has “COJONES” bigger than a mustard seed, and I’ll truly will be surprised.

That’s the way things are in Washington now. Everything is party. People who’ll go against the party and its leadership are few and far between. Certainly among the Democrats, but not just on their side of the aisle.
