In Grammy Video, Obama Says of Rape, ‘It’s not okay – and it has to stop'

Viewers of the Grammy Awards Sunday night will see a video featuring President Obama, according to White House officials, in which he urges Americans to take responsibility for stopping sexual violence, saying, "It’s not okay – and it has to stop."

The public service announcement represents the latest installment in the White House's ongoing "It's On Us," campaign, which aims to end sexual assaults on college campuses. The administration began the effort in September, with the support of major college sports leagues and prominent celebrities.

What's increasingly evident is that Obama's speech writers have been telling lies so long they have boxed themselves in. They really can't say much more because they have depleted every catchy lie on the same subjects that won't get any better.

Think of how miserable the job must be to write for this guy? Think of how professionals feel working for this administration when Marie Harf goes in front of the cameras? I've noticed the Iranian Secretary of State working out of the Whitehouse has been having to get a whole lot more directly involved.
