On Wednesday night, NBC News anchor Brian Williams apologized to the American people for lying for well over a decade about a heart-stopping war story starring himself. Williams claimed for years that he had ridden a Chinook hit by an Iraqi RPG. Last night, Williams stated, I want to apologize. I said I was traveling in an aircraft that was hit by RPG fire. I was instead in a following aircraft. He then added, We all landed after the ground-fire incident and spent two harrowing nights in a sandstorm in the Iraqi desert. Sadly, Williams apology is chock full of misleading statements and what appears to be at least one outright lie.

Heard his telling of the story to Letterman on Rush today - chillingly believable with details, names, feelings and all - will be impossible to believe anything coming out of Williams’ mouth ever again.....
In stunning detail
Fake but accurate!

No, Williams was never under fire and was in an extremely secure base.
if there are any other fantastic claims by brian William they should be checked out. when someone tells this type of lie they tend to tell others.

RPG used to be “role playing game” but what is it in this context?
What is it with the liberal’s love affair with liars? From the top down, the prevaricators are the power players.
My liberal sister and her husband watch Brian Williams religiously. He’s their news source. Have to start teasing her now!
Ask her what she thinks of his report from Katrina when he said he saw bodies floating past his hotel window. (He stayed in a 5 star hotel in the French Quarter where there was no flooding)
I know this thread is a few days old and you probably have answered your own question by now, but it is "Rocket-Propelled Grenade."
