Is a conservative schism forming over support for Scott Walkers probable presidential candidacy?
Thanks to outspoken recent support from Rush Limbaugh, the Wisconsin governor has seen his potential nomination prospects soar as conservatives look for a strong alternative to the more moderate Jeb Bush.
That led to Beltway chatter about Walkers new ascendancy and a Drudge Report poll showing him trouncing all others. Forty-four percent of Drudge readers who participated backed him, followed by 13% for Senator Ted Cruz, 12% for Senator Rand Paul and just four percent for Bush. Nearly 450,000 voted.
Politico has continued to track Rushs sustained praise for Walker, which seems slightly more overt than the talk titan normally offers a GOP contender this early in the nomination process. During Tuesdays show, Limbaugh doubled-down, calling him gutsy and thanking him for standing up to these people [the left].
But fellow conservative talker Mark Levin seems not to be on board the bandwagon and has become increasingly outspoken on the matter. Though the syndicated host is adamant that hes supported the governor through many past battles, hes unsure that Walkers stance on illegal immigration is sufficiently conservative. Whats all of this Scott Walker stuff all of the sudden? he asked listeners during a recent monologue.

Mark Levin did not even come close to saying what you claim.
I think you are simply trying to smear Walker.
“Scott Walker has done more to successfully combat the Left than ANY politician since Ronald Reagan”
Exactly. Real tangible results under the harshest of circumstances as well.
My rule of thumb, anyone trying to demean or dismiss Scott Walker, Sarah Palin or Ted Cruz are suspect.
You are way wrong on Walker
Rush is right. You are wrong.

The right is exploring it’s options. The left, by default, get Hillary.
Limbaugh and Levin have different “takes” on Walker.
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
the option is Cruz or lose
The polls mean little even in the weeks before the election.
Many of the polls had Romney winning in 2012, and he was crushed by Obama (or the election was stolen).
Cruz heads my list on the conservative principles I hold dear.

Actually, I think this poll shows there’s a lot of republican dirty work already going on. Remember the 2012 primary and how all the info they establishment wanted out there was put out on drudge.
No vote from me for anyone the establishment supports.
Levin’s voice is like chalk on a blackboard, so I never listen to him, but I really don’t care what either one of them thinks because I have a functional analytical brain of my own just like they do, and I have one vote, just like they do.
“Walker is far worse than unreliable on immigration, he is radically pro-illegals and pro-open immigration.”
Do you have any links to his statements and/or actions to back up that statement?
Walker appeals to me because he takes it to the left
instead of treating them as a respectable “loyal opposition”.
He actually acts like he understands that the left actively seeks EXTERMINATION of opposition.
Google ‘Cruz Walker’ images. You will find not ONE photo of them together. Google ‘Romney Walker’ images. Ubiquitous.
What does this tell you?
Online polls like the Drudge poll are completely worthless.
I didn’t attribute anything I posted to Levin.
And I am not smearing Walker, if I have to I can post links yet again.
I can back it up with links with quotes and video from Walker.
You’ve got nothing to call me in the least wrong on.
Are you another Walker lacky trying to mislead FR—or do simply not know what you’re talking about?
Rush is not putting Walker on a pedestal. Walker did this himself when he completely overhauled Wisconsin, fought off the Democrats, and gave a very good speech this past weekend. The great news about Walker is not only is he the most accomplished person running for President but he can also speak well. Add that to the ability to lead by his principles where even liberals fall in line is miraculous. Governor Walker is President Reagan at least by 120 percent. We are so lucky to have his humble politician lead us to greatness.
