A Marijuana First: Pot Vending Machines Dispense Weed (In weed happy Seattle!)
NBC News ^ | 02/04/15 | By Miranda Leitsinger

Weed history is being made in Seattle: the first vending machines to dispense marijuana flower buds debuted Tuesday.

The machines, called ZaZZZ, are being placed in medical pot dispensaries, which helps to verify customer's age and identity since medical marijuana cards are required to enter the centers, said Greg Patrick, a spokesman for the maker of ZaZZZ, American Green.

Though vending machines appeared for the first time in Colorado last year, those sold only edibles, or cannabis-infused foods, and not the plant's flower buds that are so often associated with smoking pot.

See # 14- in particular... "biometric fingerprinting."

One doesn't get into a medical "marijuana" dispensary without a "medical" marijuana card/certificate. Since I don't have a "medical" marijuana card, nor will I ever get one, I can't enter a "medical" marijuana dispensary. Note: I use quotation marks around the word medical, as I find it unauthentic and a ruse. The camel's nose under the tent approach to legalizing marijuana. Unlike the legalization movement, I am for a straight forward approach. PERIOD! Smoking weed is harmful to one's lungs... eating it on the other hand... not so much. Either way, decriminalizing it is warranted when comparing sentencing results in penalties harsher than what is applied to violent criminals harming innocent citizens. Let the punishment fit the crime. Murderers walk, get paroled, receive light sentences and weed users/sellers/growers languish in prisons, ofte4n longer than violent criminals, sometimes with life sentences! BULLSHIT! Abortions are rampant and earn praise yes praise by some in this "morally (in)correct" society. Free Republic has a battalion of pitchfork and torch wielding "concerned" citizens at the ready to burn at the stake those that promulgate a LAXING of marijuana laws, yet remain doldrums when it comes to the killing of the most vulnerable in our society. SHADDUP ALREADY!!!

And of course there can’t be any bad consequences from this. What was that you were saying about keeping this stuff out of the hands of children?

Read it slowly - move your lips if it helps: "The machines are being placed in medical pot dispensaries; medical marijuana cards are required to enter the centers".

Yes, we all know what sticklers pot heads are about the law. Why they would certainly never be involved in violating laws!

Medical pot dispensaries are run by pot heads? And they'd put their licenses at risk by allowing unauthorized persons to enter and use their vending machines?

It is a poor drug dealer who samples his own products, but I shouldn't be surprised to find out that they do.

It's not impossible - but is there any evidence it's more common than among pharmacists?

And I repeat: And they'd put their licenses at risk by allowing unauthorized persons to enter and use their vending machines?

Like an abortion machine except this helps F up your life for good instead of just stopping the whole life then and there.
