If’n obama hadda son ...
Let’s see how much the smirk after about 50 years behind bars.
I wonder how well they can smirk while biting their pillows and grabbing their ankles in prison.
Upset that he smirked?! I’m pi$$ed that he’s breathing.
Does MO have the death penalty?
YES!
She should have shot him in the face.
They don’t care.
Let’s see 50 years at how much to taxpayers? 60-90 thousand dollars per year of incarceration? That’s a five million dollar tab each perp, though likely they’d do about half that as ‘good time.’ So we got off for 7.5 million for one murder to keep the thugs alive until they get out to commit more crime.
I’ll second your comment. And presume that it applies equally to the other two perps.
They won’t kill them.
I just said 50 years as a benchmark number because it sounded like a good point to check in with them to see if they are still smirking, not that I thought that was all they would get.
It they get the death penalty, they could sit on death for over 30 years (don’t know what the average for MO happens to be), and run up millions in legal fees (appeals) in addition to their normal incarceration costs.
So, it would be cheaper to give them life rather then the death penalty IMHO.
A life time incarcerated in prison hell, then an eternity in Hell itself ... sounds good to me.
And just to be clear, I’m a strong advocate for the death penalty.
The smirk has got to be upsetting, but it’s small compared to the loss of her daughter. Nothing will ever bring back her daughter, nothing will ever make her feel really better about it.
Let’s just hope some justice is done. Remember the Supreme Court has said no matter how heinous the crime, a minor under the age of 18 cannot be punished the same way an adult can. So let’s hope the judge can do the worst he can to give this mother some comfort.
At that point I wouldn’t care what happened to me and would have shot the filth on the spot.
It seems to take forever but still Texas has eliminated 520 since resumption of prison fumigating in 1982. Last one was January 29.
